Course Curriculum Overview

There are 8 semester and each sem has one final exam and two internal exams . all the knowledge I gained here is feeled bookish. The course is provided by bput . it is not very good . there is a lot to improve things in this curriculum . there are different exams like 2 internals and viva and semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship like summer internship and ibm Internshi . the college provides various seminars across all the subjects. We have to submit atleast 2 projects to get our degree in the final year

From the 6th semester a student can sit for placements and you have to pass all your semester exams with flying colors . there are 20 companies visited previous year and there was 80 percent placement ratio in electrical branch. The highest package is 16 lakh and average package is 4 limit. I will do m tech

The total course fees in this college is around 30000. There are no other fees and all other fees are included.there are different scholarships available here like kalia , labour card and box and post matric scholarship. The campus placement is available here not so good and the average package is around 6 lakh

Campus Life

There are different annual fests and techfest are there like utkarsh , vidyutam, and explore and there are different clubs like Raw and gdsc, music club and dance club named as idc. The library is very big and there are available all books. There are smart classrooms and 34 mb of wifi

Admission

We have to qualify jee or ojee exam to read in this college I have secured around 500000 ranks in all of India. Then I applied to ojee counseling and I got selected in this college. There is reservation first, st students and college students. The exam is held twice a year

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting.
