Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

Campus Life is very good. Campus area is short but healthy.
Faculties experience is very high . Teaching methods is also good.

Dislikes

Campus area is short. There is no separate floor for some departments.
There is no hostel facility of the college.
College is far away from station so it's quite difficult for students to reach college in time .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because with this course I am unable to find jobs in It department and also technical department. I started preparing for real - world applications and for further academic pursuits I will be planned it later . I believe that this course will improve the society, also the world . The exams are depends on Makaut University and exam dates are declared suddenly.

Likes

College faculties are very helpful.they try their best to guide us.
College has many labs as well as library with more than 3000 books.
College has so many socity including sports, culture,tech etc.

Dislikes

College has limited campus ,so we can't enjoy campus life.
College placement isn't so good .it need to improve.
So many department didn't have their own department floor or building.

The main things I liked in this collage is the teachers teaching techniques is good
College has every gaming feature. College do events on games

Dislikes

I think the collage ground was small to play cricket. This is the reason students don't play cricket

Placement Experience:

As iam in 3rd year students. I actually don't know about the placement, only I know that the average package is 350000. Teachers tells us if we complete the graduation they gives us placement 100% . There are many companies which hired in our college

Things to know about NSEC

Likes

The Placement is Good With the avarage of 7-8LPA various great IT companies came on our campus like , Virtual, Thought works, Amazon, Intel..
Culture of coding on Campus is Great! Like many clubs is there GDSC , Noobuild, GFG student chapter & many more
Teaching experience of the professors are great! They deliver well knowledge to everyone for their great future endeavours

Dislikes

This college is came under makaut! So many restrictions like on exam over there
Campus is too small like there is no such hangout place over here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was confident about choosing NSEC CSE ! I knew this college had a great vision of providing good knowledge to the students. The course structure is well prepared for real world problems like competitive examinations preparation, codechef coding preparations. I don't think there is no such area of improvement Yes the gaps and the timings of the examination is good ! No such pressure is given to the students.

the college faculties are helpfull and co operative...
the college provides healthy environment to grow in studies
the college library consists enough books and one can easily use them

Dislikes

the college campus area is not very spacious
the location of the college is in the outskirts of the city.. sometimes connectivity becomes a problem
the chances for sports is not so good in the college area.

Placement Experience:

The placement even in the recession period is quite good in the college if we compare with others.. The students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem.. Many companies like tcs accenture j. P. Morgan. Wipro visits the college on campus drive and offer jobs to bunch of students in the college ... Our college students have got highest 30lpa job in jpmorgan where as average packages lies between 6-7 lpa.. And almost more than 85 percent student gets place every year

First off all I like the faculty of Nsec some are too good and some are good all are supporting in nature .
Here in the college we got some seminars on personality development which is I think awesome for a student like me who is introvert in nature .
The curriculum is not so hectic teachers are dealing the lecture with their pace .

Dislikes

Campus size is small here you will not get the acres campus like nits or iits it is maybe 3 or 4 acres .
Location of college is outside kolkata it is in garia which is almost 20 to 25 km from howrah.
Girl to boy ratio is 1:3 which is I think good for any engineering college.

Placement Experience:

Here placement season starts from 7th sem and many companies visit here such as Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, cognizant but main recruiter are TCS and Wipro Amazon and Microsoft select very few students. Highest package is around 4200000 and average is 5.5 lacks claimed by college. Almost 90 % student get placed here . I have plan to do mtech after my course.

Area of my college is extremely good because of that travelling to any place become easy
Faculty are supporting and politely in nature
The library is good you can study there.

Dislikes

The campus is very small that is not good.
All class do not contain AC only some class have AC.
Other things are good in this college ..

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester students are eligible for the placement and internship. Infact they can get intership in 5 semester also. 70-80 % students got placement,some students choose for higher degree and some choose for off campus.

College doesn't matters your skills matters during placements

Likes

Indoor games facility is good in our college. Library is big and spacious enough with ample amount of books to read and issue for college semesters
As I am a 1st year student so till now our teaching faculty is quite good and helpful very supportive
College has lifts and clean environment the annual fest is quite good too and most of the classes are air conditioned

Dislikes

College campus is small and does not have a proper ground for outdoor games
Management is not really good as it still didn't give us our freshers party even after one month of regular classes
Classrooms are decent and college canteen is small with not much food items available

Placement Experience:

From 4th year student become eligible for campus placements TCS, cognizant,Wipro,Amazon, and many startups visited our college Average package is 4lpa and highest package is 32lpa 80% students get placed through campus placement I am currently planning to join army after my btech degree as I am doing ncc in our college but will sit for campus placements after getting my degree and try to get a good package of 7-12 lpa in campus placements

This college actually give placements but only if you study well. Considering other colleges in bengal it is among the top 5 college in Bengal
There is No Ragging in NSEC , in bengal i was also scared at first that there will be ragging and it is there in other colleges as heard from my friends but in here its a good environment.
There are communities in our college that are too active and try to connect us to the placement driven mindset people. GDSC Noobuild and more

Dislikes

The campus area. Its not that we dont have ground to play but still its not adequate comparing to the no of students intake
The area around NSEC fells like colony not like a college. Yes It is connected with metro so you can travel to complete Kolkata but still its not that feasible

Placement Experience:

YEs there is placements , as our college is oldest in techno group and have already a good network we can also go to all collges of techno with our resume. Its a place where one can get what he or she deserves. And other skills are not taught on a very good level. For example there is a cell that provokes start up culture but again its not that good maybe it will grow in next few years.
