The true things about MIET .

Likes

The first thing I like the most about my college is the supporting staff and faculties . Behaviour of faculties with the students is really very good . They treet the students like their own brothers or sisters .
And the other thing is the exams pattern of the college . College take internal exams regularly that will help in preparation of the college academic sllybus . Because of the regular exams , students get better result in the finals or semester exams

Dislikes

As a btech student it is my personal opinion, one thing I disliked is the attendance criteria because if we attend regular classes , we don't have much time to build our skills and enhance our skills .
Another thing is that they can provide much more neat and clean services as they can clean the watercoolers time to time . Repair water coolers and toilets time to time so that students have comfort in college .

Placement Experience:

Placement is the thing that will differ from year to year . But If we talk about average , college provides placement from the 7th semester. Some of the big companies like TCS and Vipro gives very good placements to the students. They generally gives 50 percent of the total placements in the college . Besides these , some small companies and startups will also give placements to the students . And around 80 percent of the total students gets placement by the college.

Truth of my college

Likes

The overall infrastructure of the college is good. The teachers are well educated and well experienced and teaches very nicely.

Dislikes

There should no fests and functions are done like other colleges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is average. After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are companies like tcs, infosys, wipro etc. Which recruit students thorough campus placements

I liked about discipline in the college.

Dislikes

Lack of leaves after semester exams to students

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placement from 7 th semester. Can do internship also. Junglee games(3) Shopra bank (1). Wipro Tcs Accenture And many more companies have visited. Avg package 4-5lpa. Highest 10-11lpa.

It is a best place in our nearby city meerut that has unbeatable performance of their student in their particular field as none of other colleges
Maintance and instrastructure is also well managed

Dislikes

sometime staff show carelessness result of which one time i show insects in drinking watercooler
Sometime some faculity are forced to teach a subject that is out of their field by providing them notes that create misunderstanding in learning

From the 5th sem of the degree students are eligible for their internship, college also provides some opportunities but not for all of the students students are being shortlisted according to their CGPA To my knowledge, the highest package offered was 30LPA And some average packages are of 5LPA in the last session

An honest review from a Student, The good and bad of MIET Meerut

Likes

AICTE labs in college are the best in WEST UP and provide excellent facilities for students
The Faculty is very knowledgeable and qualified (most of the professors have PhD)and can guide students very well not only in academics but career wise as well

Dislikes

The lack of Air conditioning in classes is unbearable during the Summer
There are no summer or winter breaks and students have to attend college during the boiling summer heat and freezing winters

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from 7th semester for placement Tho no good placement opportunities are provided in the department of pharmaceutical technology The highest package to be expet is 8LPA the average being around 4LPA

College and it's facilities

Likes

I like dancing, listening music, reading novels.
I also like to watch movie which have genre like thriller and comedy.

Dislikes

I don't like to talk with the people who don't talk properly with elders.
I don't like things like reading novels which are rom-com.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the course B.Tech CSE we'll become software engineer. This is the best job to get high package and to make career. But in Btech 1st year we are studying subjects like physics, chemistry which are not of use in future. So I suggest to replace these subjects with better subjects related to our future job.

In my college Miet , water supply is very good.Evertime water is colled by water coller
In Miet college, Faculty are very caring. All teachers love childrens

The college canteen is very good and provide food at affordable price.
The faculty of the college is very experienced and supportive.

Dislikes

Every class of the college dost not have a good sitting benches and chairs.

Placement Experience:

After 3 year means after 6 semester a student is eligible to sit in placement round and a student should have maintain good CGPA. A lot of companies came in the college for campus placements like HCL, CISCO, TCS and a lot of startups companies. the highest pacakge us 45lpa.

Likes

The faculty of our college is really professional and experienced as well. They teach us very well in the class and the schedule of the class are very good and organized very efficiently.
The placement cell of our college as they provide us aptitude session every weak .

Dislikes

The campus of our college is not that too big .
The canteen of our college is not good as they give stale food.

Placement Experience:

from 7 semester a student is eligible for campus placements . A lot of companies visit our college for placements like cisco , tcs and many more starups. The highest package of the college is 20 lpa and the average package is 5lpa.

Likes

Teacher's behviour all the teacher nature is good and they all are very polite to the students.
Hostel facility all things are good in hostel rooms, washroom, corridor, power supply, water supply, wifi etc all things are good.

Dislikes

Mess and its food are very disapointed.

Placement Experience:

In 100% 85% student get placed. The average package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The best and good company campaign in our college and placed the students. My plan is when i complete my course then i got placed in good company.
