My college experince

Likes

Campus and college atmosphere,and the faculties are so cool
The technical fest called takshak and art fest called Sanskriti are very intresting
The place . Kothamangalam is actually a nice place

Dislikes

No railway station nearby which makes it difficult to people coming from long distance

Placement Experience:

Our college is a well reputed college with good placement history.majors recruiters are tcs, Wipro, cognizant, Microsoft, etc.. with an avarage package of 6 lakh which is a decent package.among 700 students 653 were placed last year.

My college we realise what is life actually

Likes

We have more young faculties than aged. Young teachers know the our pulse than any other and they are also very friendly to us
College infrastructure was above my expectation. My college is autonomous college. So that it's very neat and clean than govt. Colleges.
Especially the college vibes with oru friends.Its helps me to feel comfortable and to get out of the matrix.

Dislikes

My college tought me that attendance is more important than studies. There is always classes. Day shocalrs are not getting time to enjoy with friends
No proper hotels near college. Somany food poison cases have reported near my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wrote the entrance exam with the aim to get seat in ai in my college. But later I realised that high rank got students are taking cs instead of ai. may because it's a core subject. This changed my decision to take cs. But the teaching curriculum is outdated. We have go to pre work intership after our course for getting better placement.also the frequently conducting series exams are really stressful.

The Campus Experience

Likes

The atmosphere of the college considering its location
The offer of technical skills in wide range and conducting of tech shows, TedX.
The canteen food is good and function in a smooth and clean manner

Dislikes

The distance of the college from my hostel is too long
The duration of class is approximately 7hrs which is normal for all engineering courses
The limit to just have 2 bigger event compared to all other events happening in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum offers a vast range of technical knowledge. Rather than just depending upon the syllabus, the students of the college conduct various tech programs to improve our technical skill. It helps us to understand the what the job market demands and cater to its needs. Some of the areas to improve is the time constraints for a semester to complete. A semester consists of 2 series examinations for 50 marks , a semester exam for 100 marks and various assignments and workshops .

What I Like most about this college is it's campus.The campus is well maintained by the faculties.

Dislikes

The only con associated with this college is it's strict rules for attendance.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides pretty decent placements. Students can sit for placements from the sixth semester onwards. Top companies like TCS, Infosys comes to our college during campus placements. The average package is around 6 lakh per annum. The highest package went around 60 lpa.

College life in MACE, admission processes

Likes

The regular events held in our college helped me improve my technical knowledge.
Sport and arts events helped me to express and improve my talents.
The faculty member are so kind and good. They explain the concept effectively

Dislikes

The reachability to the college is little difficult.
The facilities are strick. There not much freedom that you get in normal government college.
The course mainly contains more theory than practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. We have lab experiment that will certainly improve our real world application skills. I suggest to add more practice based curriculum. It is a four year course. There are two semester exams in each year.

Likes

The events and the participation opportunities.
The teaching and non-teaching staff are all sweet and the company and friends I found are also great.
The college has a beautiful location and serene environment.

Dislikes

Lack of activity in the town of Kothamangalam where the college is located.
Strict rules in all departments and laboratories.

Placement Experience:

The college has a good amount of placements every year and the numbers have been going up every year. Most students who study here find themselves placed by the last semester. TCS, Ion digital Cognizant are some companies that offer placements. I will mostly like to get placed first and then after working for a couple of years I might go and do my Mtech

Placements are ok in campus.Placements starts from third year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Google, meta, and many other companies visit college.College also provide placement support cell.They will provide us training.Also internship opportunities.
