Likes

Very nice and wide college campus. The campus is so eco friendly. There is very peace and quite atmosphere. Buildings are so big and neat. Campus is near to Kothamangalam town so we can reach here easly. New and advanced classrooms
College hostels are huge and can accommodate more students. Boys hostels are so clean and have more facilities. Fees are not much high for hostels. College culturals and techincal events are so famous and such a good experience for each students.
Most of the teachers are so friendly and they help us for improve our academics and non- academic activities. Parents can easly connect with their children's faculty advisors and there are always available. There are many clubs and groups are here.

Dislikes

There are some regulations for dress code. Hostel's have curfew.
College management is strict and campus politics is strictly prohibited.

Placement Experience:

For the 7th semester onwards, placements are arranged in this college. There is a special placement cell for students to enquire about various companies and there placements. And they can improve there skills and can take mock interviews and placement steps within the college itself.

Mace in a nutshell

Likes

Programmes are good and fun.2 main programmes per year
All types of clubs are available like dance, music etc
Lot of labs for mechanical students like fluid labs etc

Dislikes

Strict management, and do not support many programmes
Management does not provide funding for college events or projects
Very strict class and exams are very strict. No adjustments

Placement Experience:

Students with above 7.5 cgpa get decent placements but Mech and civil does not give you very high paying jobs or a lot of jobs. We can expect a Small package oif lucky. Cute jobs are less you may get it placements

MACE: THE PERFECT COLLEGE

Likes

The campus is very beautiful and environment friendly
Faculty is very helpfull and supportive and teaches very good
The principal and management of the college is very supportive of the students

Dislikes

The management does not support any cultural or technical events in the college
Classrooms are not neat and tidy. It is very unclean
I did not get admission in college hostel which is a disappointment

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is the best course of this current generation. There are many job opportunities after completing this course. I also have personal intrest in computer programming. It is a very interesting course.

The truths about mace

Likes

The teachers are friendly and approachable.they are not hesitant to clear the students' doubts when we dont get a giid understanding on the topic.
The college has a comfortable environment. It has a good geographical location surrounded by nature, allowing the students to have a peacefull mind.
The college provides us with many cultural events such as takshak and sansriki that help the students to releive from their academic pressures and soothe their minds.

Dislikes

Some of the seniors are arrogant and unfriendly.they often rag the students and tell them to complete their assignments for them.
Food facilities are not satisfactory. There are hygiene issues with the hostel food that may have caused food poisoning for many of the students.
many of the hostels have poor facilities and unhealthy food. They impend unnecessarily strict rules and curfews that destroys the freedom of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The 2019 curriculum could be considered a little bit outdated, but it has included all basic and nesesary topics needed for paving the way for the students professional career. The first year curriculum is well designed and gives all the students a basic idea on mechanics,civil engineering, maths,physics, chemistry and so on.

The way the teachers interacting with the students and the way they clear their doubts is also good.
The are providing career guidance classes inorder to make awareness about the rise of technology in coning future
There are many sports equipments and many competitions are held in the college which makes engaging to us

Dislikes

The ragging from the seniors is one of the main problem in the college.
The college is not providing enough fests because of which most of us finds it difficult to adjust with it
In case if we are going to any workshops during class hours we find it difficut to get the duty leave.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available and companies starts coming from our third year. Companies coming are tcs, wipro, infosys, google, zoho. Highest package is around fifteen lakhs per annum and minimum is three lakhs per annum. Almost every student without any arrears get placed. My plan is to go with placements

MACE the Moment

Likes

Better infrastructure when compared to other colleges, periodic events are the main highlights of MACE. Moreover uniform is not mandatory in Aspects.
There are a lot of events conducted within the college. You can participate in them and be socially active.
Sports related activities are given priority as that of academic studies. Better placement opportunities from different MNCs and many intermediate companies.

Dislikes

Teaching is intermediate and not much to our expectations. We should do extra research on our studies to excel rather than just study what are teachers ask which is in a way good but hard for some students.
Aspects for improvement are to ensure better teaching and better food availablity. My friends living in college hostel and some private hostels frequently complain about the average food quality.
Ragging is common to freshers in MACE. However we get to mingle with our seniors by such interactions.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. Certain big MNCs and intermediate companies come for campus placement. The average placement package is about 5 lakhs per annum. Google, TCS, Byjus, Uber, IBM are some of the companies that frequently visit in our college campus. The highest package placement in our college was about 50LPA and the lowest is arround 1LPA. About 90 % of students get placed. Most of the others prefer for higher studies or start a startup.

Mace the door to opportunity

Likes

The atmosphere of college is so good. According to my point of view the academics is too good
The faculty support is so good.. They are very helpfull.
The college has a good placements. Infrastructure of college is also nice

Dislikes

Management is strict and they dont support students to conduct programms
Hostel facilities is bad. Not everyone will get college
The food in the college hostel is somewhat bad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are pretty good in this college considering the current situation. Placement starts from the third year and almost evey student without any arrears will get a placement. The main companies visiting the college are TCS, Wipro, google, Amazon. Highest package this year was twenty lacks per annum and minimum was around three lack per annum. My plans after degree is to go with placements

The start of an era

Likes

Campus environment and facilitites are great
Great staff support, eminent and professional lecturers
Labs with lots of facilities enabling students to achieve skills in their fields

Dislikes

Transportation is a bit hard if not having our own vehicles
Sports events are not given much priority
Private hostels are either distant from college or providesa worst food

Placement Experience:

Placement starts with 6th semester, during the third year. There should be no supplementary exams during the last year. Many top companies offers placement and majority of students will get accepted. Every department students will have job offers to core jobs

I liked the environment of the college. It is situated in a very calm place.

Dislikes

The management is very strict. The hostel timing for girls and boys are different which hinders the idea of gender equality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Electronics and Communication engineering since I was very keen in knowing the aspects of technology. Our college provides quality education in this field. It is one of th best govt aided colleges in Kerala. We have different technical clubs for developing the skills of students. There are two series exam and one semester exam conducted per semester.

Life At MACE

Likes

The campus is built accordingly so as to blend with nature and its aesthetics.
The teachers here are highly experienced. Their ability to make us understand and grasp the information is great.
Cultural fests and other programmes conducted here are of top notch quality.

Dislikes

The distance of college from hostel. There is about 1 km distance.
Only two big events are conducted. No other cultural programmes are given importance.
Less no of courses available. There is no branches like automobile, chemical, food technology etc

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements during their seventh semester. TCS and Google often calls out job opportunities. About 75% of students get placed in multinational companies with high salary. My plan is to go for a higher education like mtech.
