Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

Admission:

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET. Rather than settling for different course at these colleges I chose MACE because of its reputation and specialized curiculum were a better fit for my goals.

One of the best government aided college

I chose this college considering the distance from my home. Good facilities and the environment of the college. This college supports extracurricular activities. Has 2 basketball court 2 football court, a huge ground for cricket, swimming pool facilities,other clubs such as mace dance club , divaat fashion club,mace musical club who performs at many college even in national levels

One of the best engineering colleges in Kerala

I applied to Government Engineering College - Thrissur, College of Engineering - Trivandrum, Thangal Kunju Musliar College - Kollam. The reason I didnt get into these colleges is because my rank in KEAM was low. You have to take KEAM exam to get into Engineering colleges in Kerala. If you have the sufficient rank to fill up the seats in tge college you are accepted.

MACE FOR ME

I had applied for same courses on Muthoot institute of science and technology, as well as Fisat angamaly etc. but I realised that more of government aided college like MACE would give me more exposure in terms of my professional career than studying in self financing colleges. Also I got both of my allotments in MACE. So I choose not to change my decision. Also the placement records were quite impressive than other colleges. Admission process of my college is quite simple. It takes about 3 - 4 hours including a seminar session. The eligibility is only to clear KEAM examination and should meet following rank requirements. Admission experience was great and it was like so technical.

KNOW YOUR MACE!

I also applied for CET and GECT but i lost both due to high cutoff rank. my rank was 1408. I get admission through the entrance exam keam ,which was conducted in online mode, the cutoffs is becoming more tight in last years. Overall admission experience was exhausting.
