Admission to the college is through a successful WBJEE rank. As an autonomous institute, it ensures regular and timely exams, unlike other MAKAUT affiliated institutes. The college is noted for its quality education, particularly in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Information Technology (IT) departments, which have experienced and excellent faculty. Laboratories are well-equipped, with dedicated faculty supervision. The college charges approximately 44,000 INR per semester, totaling about 90,000 INR annually, with an additional exam fee of 1,200 INR per semester.
