GNDEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The TnP cell is quite good. It offers so many placement opportunities. The placement record is almost 100% every year. The average package is around 6lpa and some companies like Samsung etc also visited the campus.

From the 7th sem, we are eligible for placements. Various MNCs visit our college like Infosys, HCL, Cognizant, Samsung R&D, IndiaMart, etc. And their offers vary from 4-12 LPA. The highest package is around 13 LPA and the average package is 4LPA. More than 95% of students are placed by the college. I plan to do a decent job and gain some experience in this field.

A student in the final year that is from semester 7th becomes eligible for placement. The lowest package is offered by companies like Wipro and Infosys with 3.5 LPA and the highest packages are given to software developers in Samsung and Microsoft with 12 LPA. Around 70% of students who applied for placements get placed in the companies. I am planning to pursue my master's in business admission after BTech.

College provides placements like Flipkart amazon TCS Wipro and much more company comes to college for hiring and placement is fully based on student knowledge if a student is skillfully it can easily be placed and our college's previous record is an excellent student also hired abroad.

Students become eligible for placements after completing their 6th semester and after that they can apply for a campus placement. Companies that visits to the campus are Cogni , TCS , Samsung , Tata etc and average package offered by them is around 3-4 lacs per Annum. In CSE department around 95% students got placed in the campus. And I also want to be placed in Samsung company in around 5lacs .

On campus placements are provided and almost everyone is placed into a mass-recruiter(tcs, etc) with 4-5lpa sallery. Which is a downside but you can grow and even apply for off campus placements. In punjab GNDEC has a good reputation and many offer good packages to our students. The alumini network is also good they visit campus time to time. As a fun fact famous Punjabi singer SIDHU MOOSE WALA is also from our college.

The placement of the college is average. Many reputed companies like Infosys, Samsung, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mahindra, Zeolite, and many other companies visited. The highest package is around 12-14 lakh maybe.

Last year all the students who gave the interview got placement which means the placement percentage for B.tech - IT and Computer Science was 100%. Although the packages they got were not too good. The highest package was 18 lakh/annum given by Microsoft and the lowest package was 2.4 lakhs/annum given by Infosys. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata Motors, TCS, L&T, and many more. There is a Traning and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) in the college for the students who are interested in taking internships in any company. The top roles offered are project manager, software developer, Programmer, etc. From 2nd year students are made available with the internship opportunities. After I get my degree I want to do my master's and then work in an MNC like- Microsoft or Google.
