Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers in the college are highly educated and really really helpful. They have a vast knowledge of their subject and a lot of life experience, which they share with us from time to time. The classes are really good and interactive. Almost all our doubts are cleared in the class only. The course curriculum is relevant and interesting. They try their best to give each and every possible knowledge to the student that is required by the industry nowadays. The semester exams are not that difficult if a student only pays even a little bit of attention to the class he/she can easily pass the exams. The passing percentage is 33%, which includes the lab manuals, attendance, and behavior too. 75% attendence is compulsory in the college. I choose this course because I have a keen interest in computer hardware and software. Most of the teachers have done M.Sc and some are PhD holders too. For a class of 30, there is one teacher for each subject.
Internships Opportunities
Last year all the students who gave the interview got placement which means the placement percentage for B.tech - IT and Computer Science was 100%. Although the packages they got were not too good. The highest package was 18 lakh/annum given by Microsoft and the lowest package was 2.4 lakhs/annum given by Infosys. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata Motors, TCS, L&T, and many more. There is a Traning and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) in the college for the students who are interested in taking internships in any company. The top roles offered are project manager, software developer, Programmer, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid
The first semester fees were 2000 for the admission form and 54249 rupees for semester fees. A lot of scholarships are available for needy students. There is a scholarship called the fee waiver programme which reduces the semester fees to half, there is a scholarship provided by the alumni of the college to the needy students, there is a scholarship for the economically weaker section students and many more such scholarships are there. There is no such thing as fees hike once you got admission to the college instead the fees reduce as you move to senior year. Last year all the students who gave the interview got a placement with the highest package upto 18 lakhs/annum.
Campus Life
The college campus area is pretty good. It is about 90 acres. Unlimited wifi usage is provided to the students. The wifi is available throughout the whole college. The labs are well maintained and all the instruments and machinery required for any experiment are available in the labs. The classrooms are spacious and well maintained and one of my favorite classrooms is the Engineering Drawing classroom, it's really good. The library is also available for the student. It has 95,812 books for engineering and self-growth books included. If anyone is not financially good enough to buy books he/she can issue the syllabus-related books directly from the library for free of cost for the whole semester. The conditions of the books are also good. The library has a sitting hall with a capacity of 100 students. For UPSC and civil service aspirants daily newspaper is provided of 5 to 6 different companies and in different languages. The only problem is that it remains open from 6 to 8 pm only.
Other Applied Colleges
