Computer lab beacuase it consists of ryzen 7 cpus.
Class rooms are equipped with projectors .
College also consists badminton, volleyball and basketball court.

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not well maintained.
Badminton, volleyball and basketball court are not manintained.
Campus is always fill up of leaves and branches of trees.

Admission:

First I choose colleges like vgec , gec gandhinagar etc but I got this college in acpc counselling. There are 4 exams per anum in our college . 2 of exams are associated by college and other 2 by GTU.

Campus , faculties , staff , canteen and other facilities
The helpfulness of faculty and their attention on students
The management of college and teachers is really good

Dislikes

The washroom are not cleaned regularly which may produce mosquito
The water is not regular sometimes it doesn't have water in our department
There are mosquito in our class which can be reason for diseases

Admission:

This college is really good . It has a amazing campus and is really affordable for a middle class student and who wants to study but don't have money . Inspite of bare minimum fees this college provides all the facilities like other colleges do

The knowledge of professors, all of them have a minimum degree of Masters in their respective subjects and those with Masters are all pursuing Phd in the subjects, nearly 80% of the professors already have a phd so its a very good choice.
The person to person attention paid by professors is just out of the world! Yes they will point you out if you aren't paying attention or if you are sleeping.
Efforts of the professors for completing the syllabus on time, yes they'll take extra lectures and they will assure that you attend it.

Dislikes

The infrastructure just from outside, it just looks old but also is equipped with good quality things on the other side
Not so good sports ground there is volleyball court, badminton/ tennis court and basketball court but is not upto the mark.

Admission:

Personally I chose the college just because it was Government institute as i knew earlier that government colleges comes wuth minimum 75 % attendance so i made sure at the time of registration that i would study and not bunk the classes. Comparing to other private colleges in surat i would rate it the best considering the quality of education they provide and the fees they take from the students. For an example taking ck pithawala college, they provide the worst quality of education, comparing to sarvajanik university scet college they take a hefty 1.5 lacs per year so it was the best price to quality ratio in surat. I know that colleges like VGEC Chandkheda, AIT Ahmedabad, MSU Baroda, LD ahmedabad were better than this but my rank was low in ACPC and so i thought i will take this college in my hometown. The registration process for the college is also too simple it requires just registration in ACPC and set all the colleges in a chronological order you like and then you get to select your college depending upon your rank.

Techfest and sports week and all other thing happens.

Admission:

This is the only government engineering college in surat. Fee of college very less compare to many private colleges. Threw Acpc admission process you can get admission in it. For D2D you have to give the exam on the marit base you can get admission.

Our college campus and faculties are very good. Our classrooms and labs are also big which I like. Our college have different building for each department.
Our faculties are very supporting to us which I like the most.
Placements in our college is also good and here internships are also provide to us.

Dislikes

Placements are very good but I am a student of computer engineering and in our college our batch is second batch in computer department.
Food in our canteen is not so good and delicious.

Admission:

I have to take the admiddion in surat so I choose this collge because of this college has second rank in surat city and also this college is government collge. I have take admission in this college through ACPC. and my category is General EWS so the rank to take admission in GEC was something 5000-6000. and I have got good rank so got the admission.

I appreciate quality of education,faculty member, Extra circulars activity. Need ed improve ment is placment opportunity.
My engagement with campus life was a mix of academic focus and active participation in extracurricular activities. I enjoyed being part of various student clubs and events.
The faculty demonstrated strong expertise in their fields, using engaging teaching methods that made complex concepts easier to grasp. They were approachable and supportive, offering valuable mentorship that guided both academic and personal growth.

Dislikes

Collage in limited industry connection and insufficient resposnblitiy to student feedback.
Campus life in sometime focused on Accedmic.
Faculty in need a new teaching skills. Need a placement high rate of our callge.

AND THE CONFIRM collage is P.T SCIENCE, AND R. N. G PATEL., Dr. S&S.S.GHANDHY GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLAGE. BECAUSE IT'S GOVERNMENT AND I HAVE NOT INUF MONEY. Our college fees are more only one reason to not study were. Admission process is registered in ACPC AND AND THE MY COLLEGE CUTT OF IS 22000. 12TH AND GUCHKET/JEE.IS REQUED. MY VERY EXCITED AND NURBASS.

The overview of government engineering college, surat

Likes

There is not any other fees required, and it's fees are only 1500 rs. +2000rs.
There is a canteen with capacity of 100 students .
There is a student store and sports facilities.

Dislikes

Its structure was made in 1995 and not renovated till 2025.
There are many buildings ruined, because it's old structure.
There's library have limited books , and you can't find other books from the syllabus.

I liked the campus location unlike other institutes it is in the center of Surat city.
Webinars and Seminars are conducted and they are free of cost, which provide us additional knowledge.
Faculties and staff members are very helpful in academics.

Dislikes

During heavy rainfalls, few parts of campus area are filled with water. Which makes it uneasy for hostel students to make to classes.
NA, there is nothing, that I do not like about my college.

Admission:

I also applied for VIT but due to my low merit score I could not get admission there and it was also too expensive for me. The admission proccess was easy as I had to carry only specific documents and their xerox copies and had to fill a form to confirm my admission in GEC Surat.

College has very big Camus area and many trees and plants.

I applied to several reputed colleges, including L.D government engineering college,vgec government engineering college and nirma engineering college which were known as high placement offers and good academic programs.I received conform admission in Dr S & S.S GANDHY Government engineering College.i did rejection from upper three colleges the main reason that my score in gujrat board fell slightly below their cut off. The college required minimum 50 percent in 12 class.and in i received 60 percent.
