Admission to the college is conducted through the ACPC online process, prioritizing high merit based on 12th-grade marks or diploma merit. A candidate with a diploma merit rank of 17 successfully secured admission through multiple rounds. The college features a faculty of 16 experienced members in the civil branch, many of whom hold or are pursuing PhDs. The college, being government-run, offers a low tuition fee of 1,500 rupees, with additional charges totaling 3,000 rupees.
The Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme waives the tuition fee, and GTU fees are 3,000 rupees per semester. Overall fees are competitive at approximately 6,000 rupees. Placement opportunities are available, with companies like TCS, IBM, and Tata recruiting. The placement rate is 20-40%, with packages ranging from 2.5 to 8 LPA, contingent on meeting a minimum CGPA of 6 and having no backlogs. Internships in the 8th semester are compulsory but generally unpaid.
Scholarships, such as MYSY and Digital Gujarat, significantly reduce costs for eligible students. Tuition fees range from 1,500 to 2,500 INR annually, with hostel fees at 1,260 INR per semester. Scholarships particularly benefit OBC, ST/SC, and female students, with MYSY covering up to half of the annual fees. The college's economical fees, compared to private institutions, see a 5% annual increase. First-year students receive Smart 4G tablets at a nominal cost.
