From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement and companies started to visit.
L&T, RELIANCE,HITACHI,CIVILTECH,etc. Companies have visited or they have set interview for placement.The highest package in diploma is around 5,00,000 LPA and average package is 2,50,000-3,00,000 LPA.
I think 40 to 50% of student getting placement and my plans after diploma is to do BE.

After completing the 6th sem, we'll get the offer for campus placement. Atleast 20 companies would come for the best candidates. I plan to pursue this course only, for Bachelors in Degree. I would try scoring top in ddcet in order to get a seat in the government LD college

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students.
The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum.
About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

This college provides the best placements in Surat for Mechanical Engineering field as there are many many fields in the city considering Hazira side areas where companies like L&T reside which take students from Gandhy college first, then fron other colleges. It provides a hefty sum of 700000 to 800000 per annum average and the campus placement packages go upto 250000 260000 per year which is a very good amount. Talking about the employment in this field, it is drastic in every field comprising of any kind of machineries.

Their are descent number of placements every year. As principal of GEC Surat is also an alumini of IIT-Bombay in Electrical branch, he has got some high profile contacts in industry to hire freshers from our institute. The highest package from my branch was 8 LPA and the average package was 6 LPA.

- I don't have good idea about the placement of the campus since I have just started the college and did not pay attention to the other activities due to late admission and pending assignment and approaching exam to exam and now its time for final exam
