Placement Experience:

This college provides the best placements in Surat for Mechanical Engineering field as there are many many fields in the city considering Hazira side areas where companies like L&T reside which take students from Gandhy college first, then fron other colleges. It provides a hefty sum of 700000 to 800000 per annum average and the campus placement packages go upto 250000 260000 per year which is a very good amount. Talking about the employment in this field, it is drastic in every field comprising of any kind of machineries.

Placement Experience:

There are many students who got the campus placement from my college. The average package of campus placement offers 4-4.5 Lakhs per year. The maximum package offers 20-25 lakhs per annum There are many companies like relience, L&T , eather , ongc etc... come in campus placement.

GEC Surat - Electrical branch

Placement Experience:

Their are descent number of placements every year. As principal of GEC Surat is also an alumini of IIT-Bombay in Electrical branch, he has got some high profile contacts in industry to hire freshers from our institute. The highest package from my branch was 8 LPA and the average package was 6 LPA.

I don't have good idea about the placement of the campus since I have just started the college and did not pay attention to the other activities due to late admission and pending assignment and approaching exam to exam and now its time for final exam

Placement Experience:

The collage placements are nice. From 7th semester students are eligible for applying for the placement offer. The higest package recieved by a student is 17,00,000 offered by adani company. My plans after completing my degree is to apply for masters in ME.

Placement Experience:

Cllege placements are better but this year students have more in number so is this not possible that every student get placement. The highest package offer by our gec surat is 9 lakh and average is 2.5 lakh.There are many company visited in our college like TCs,infosys,wipro etc.

The placements are also good here. Specially in core branches such as EE and ME departments. Teachers also guide us about the GATE exams and teach us with the ongoing curriculum.

Placement Experience:

Placements in GEC Surat are very good for core branches specially Electrical engineering department as the principle is alumini of IIT Bombay in Electrical engineering he has some contacts in companies which comes during placements in my college. Companies like WAREE, GOLDI solar and DGVCL are the most high recruiting companies here. They take students on the average package of 5-6 LPA. The highest package got from GEC Surat was 12 LPA in my department of ECE and the average package was 4-5 LPA. So , overall there is no good placements for ECE department till now, but GEC Surat provides the best placements in ECE department after SVNIT in Surat. My plans after degree is to prepar for GATE exams to unlock more opportunities as can't rely on only placements in this third tier college.
