A part of my life in B.tech

Likes

First and foremost thing that I liked about the college is placements. Upto a 100% placement assistance will be provided. Even after your graduation your placement team post the jobs from your college side and through off campus ones.
Clubs and groups are the other major factor that helps in the self growth. Most of the clubs empower out social skills and make us the confident speakers and visionaries. Girls to the boys ratio 3:4.
Teaching methods are good and being updated accordingly to the current trends for the industry teady. And these are the major things that I liked.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is the disadvantage to this college the occupancy space is too small majority of the classrooms are crowded due to small spaces
Fests and events are not normalised here. Every thing is controlled by certain groups and we cannot have a banger like fests here. But it seems things are shifting in a different direction now a days.
Too many unnecessary assignments and exams. That wasted time can be utilised for other necessary things. That should be improved here.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 placements training and assessments will be conducted and special classes and sessions from various training institutes like APEX, AMCAT, COCUBES, CRT, FACE PREP will start taking classes. Using these sessions we can get good placement training opportunities. Around 15 - 20 companies approached our campus and 80 to 90% of the students were placed last year. I've got some placements and my plan after degree is to start my career in the IT Industry.

Likes

The quality and standards of education is excellent
There are no.of opportunities regarding the placements in the campus
The prizes of canteen are so affordable and sometimes cheap

Dislikes

Dogs are so allowed into the campus ...which causes a little inconvenience to the students
The classrooms are good but can be more remodelised
There are no proper seats for the bus students

The infrastructure is not as good because when compared with libraries and labs the infrastructure of buildings in poor
Not many events takes place in our college

Placement Experience:

I am studying in 2nd year so I am not eligible for the placement and students can get into companies from 3rd year. They can complete an internship and get certified with skills and can apply for a job in specified company. The highest package according to my knowledge is around 50 lpa. The percentage of students getting place is around 70

From the 7th sem, the students are eligible for campus interviews. Amazon - 40LPA. Microsoft-50LPA, and many other companies like Tata, Cognizant, Accenture, and many more. On an average, almost every student gets placed. My plan was to take a master's in the US.

The peer group you find here will be amazing.
Good and neat campus with a decent library.
A steady record of placements and good career guidance.

Dislikes

Lack of fests or any such events in college.
Outdated lab equipment which sometimes don't even work.

Data science is a vast area with a lot of career opportunities. We can jump into any sector like industrial, agricultural, financial, software, etc. It is the perfect blend of mathematics, programming, and statistics for a loving enthusiastic coder. The faculty-to-student ratio is "ok". The quality of faculty is very varying. You can find faculty of all levels here, most of the time the best come later into the course.

There is a lot of support from the faculty.
There is a lot of scope for us to perform in both academics and sports.
There are many social clubs and technical clubs that help us in many ways.

Dislikes

The maintance of the washrooms is one of the concern.
Sometimes the materials for study are not provided in time.
The way the faculty cover the syllbaus..

Placement Experience:

Generally, we were told that the campus placements for our batch (2021) would be in our 3rd year. However, we cannot exactly predict at what time the campus placements will be. There are many companies that come to our college to offer campus placements like Tcs, Amazon, Adobe, etc.

Likes

Administration and functioning college is very good and smooth considering the amount of resources available
Faculty are friendly and are usually supportive

Placement Experience:

Placements are good here compared to other colleges in the region. However, it is dominated by IT related role. More information about the placements can be obtained from college websites. Large numbers of companies visits here such as TCS , Mindtree, Factsets, Amazon, Cognizant, etc Highest package gooes upto 45L. However average is about 5L Nearly 80% of students from gets placed from CSE, IT, ECE
