A part of my life in B.tech

I've chosen data science based on my passion we are the first batch to study this course and design of curriculum is being updated all these years and now standards are stabilized. You can choose this course of you are interested in data science. As I said the curriculum is being updated so the real world applications are being included for better quality purpose. Should improve more practical approach in the concepts rather than a theory exams. Exams are being scheduled for every 2-3 months with 2 mid terms in this span and 1 semester at 4th month.

Internships are mostly virtual, offline internships are low. Students can chose offline internships if they are relevant to their branches and domains. Projects are mostly allocated by our own choices according to the list of domains given to you. Clarification of doubts and assistance Will be provided by the faculty assigned as mentors to each group.

From semester 5 placements training and assessments will be conducted and special classes and sessions from various training institutes like APEX, AMCAT, COCUBES, CRT, FACE PREP will start taking classes. Using these sessions we can get good placement training opportunities. Around 15 - 20 companies approached our campus and 80 to 90% of the students were placed last year. I've got some placements and my plan after degree is to start my career in the IT Industry.

Based on the merit rank in AP EAMCET EXAMINATION student's without scholarship eligibility should pay 69000 per year. Students with scholarship eligibility can pay no fee if the criteria is of 100% scholarship eligibility only. I am under no scholarship eligibility so I've paid the full fee of 69k. All the fees are included only in this other extra fee like examination fee, library fee, lab fee are also included in that 69k. Eligibility for scholarship is based on financial status and legal documents like ration card, income tax, income tax certificates and other requirements are needed in order to apply for scholarship eligibility.

Most of the fests are technical and some are cultural these fests are not in a big scale and limited time periods are allocated to these events. Most of the clubs do their events according to their schedules respectively. Club events are more often and frequently happening things in the college. Books and journals are available in a massive scale in library each department has their own Library other than central library. Each and every project from the passed out students are available in the library itself. Sports are one of the positive things in this college inter college tournaments and NSS events are being held here every year.

Based on my rank in EAMCET EXAMINATION I've chosen 6 to 7 colleges among them GVP is known for it's role in placement opportunities and exposure. I didn't apply to any other colleges and based on my category BCD it's hard get seat in govt universities. This I've chosen this college as my priority.

According to my course the faculty availability is good and faculty to the student ratio for my course is 10 : 70 and overall computer science dept to the student ratio is 20 : 420. Most of he faculty are good in communication with the students and approach to the faculty when needed is the good thing here. Most of the faculty encourage that curiosity in learning about the things and gives us additional tips and resources. No one in particular are the best all the faculty falk under same category of good teachers. Some of the faculty were too strict to approach and to be consulted during particular timings only.

Not a good place for gym and cafeteria, gym is too small and outdated equipment and students won't even use them. Cafeteria contains only vegetarian items and limited too. Outside campus food courts are good and compatible to every food item. Hotels inside campus are good and food is only vegetarian, non vegetarian foods are not allowed inside the campus. Hangout place are mostly outside of the campus inside there are no hangout spots. Campus timings from 8-8:30 to 12-1:00 and 2:00 to 4:00 PM according to the schedule timings might change.
