DBIT Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements start from the start of the 7th semester itself and many companies are coming in with avg package of around 4-5 lakhs. As of now companies like MPhasis, HashedIn, Cloudthing, Hexaware, Wiley Mthree etc. The highest package is 11 LPA by Wiley. The profiles are mainly trainee engineers and associate software engineers. Placements for the CSE branch is above 80%. I'm planning to continue with my job after my education.

Faculties are highly knowledgeable and with 100% interest, they put lots of effort to make students understand the concept. Each class has about 55 to 60 students. Monthly internal exams are taken thrice a semester and at the end of each semester, an external exam is there. External exam papers and checking are done by VTU University. If we study the prescribed textbook thoroughly they we can score very decent marks in the final exam. Everything marking, paper setting etc is done fairly since it comes under VTU. Under VTU more than 200 colleges come under so you can imagine how reputed VTU university is and so is the final degree provided also have a lot of value outside the college. Therefore I suggest you join the Don Bosco Institute of Technology.

The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester itself but most of the companies come during the 8th semester. The companies that visited the campus are Infosys, TCS, MINDTREE, MPHASIS, INTELLIPAT, etc. The highest package according to my knowledge is 6 lpa. Almost 60% of students get placed.

The college will give good placement opportunities. The thing is we need to utilize the opportunities. Even they will provide placement training if we want we can take the training by paying extra money else we can study on our own.

From the 7th semester, you will be eligible to attend campus drives. There are many companies tied up with this college. in the years 2020 and 2021, we got many big companies in this covid pandemic also. Almost all the students get placed. if a student makes an effort to build his/her carrier, this college strives to get as many opportunities for the student.

the placement activity started at first year itself by training bit and bit in terms of soft skills and educating the children in there own activities and there were a lot more companies attended in the campus the package ranged from2.4 to 24lpa

Placement opportunities are high on our campus. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies like TCS, Amazon, Accenture, etc... The highest package offered is 8LPA in the tech role and the lowest package is 2.5LPA.

Usually, placement activities in our college start from *3rd year* and we will initially be given internship opportunities and later will be provided with pre-placement offers. We will also be encouraged to do several certification courses to improve our resumes. Our college has associations with several Tech Companies and Startups namely VTricks, Tech Trunks, Abstream technologies, Destination, Seventh Sense. They all provide mentoring to the students from the industry experts and make the students ready to work in an IT environment. Few students choose to go for Post Graduation for which materials will be provided by the faculty on request. We can expect at least 40 companies to come on campus every year. The placement activity in any college usually starts from 5th Semester and students will be provided with several internship opportunities on and off campus which will improve their industry skills and will help them get accustomed to work ecosystem. The student has to make sure he'll get his hands on in doing certified courses so as to improve the resume. Resume is simply defined as the competance certificate of the student which includes his complete academic and non academic accomplishments. He can easily get placed using the on campus job opportunity.
