Remarks

I had applied for all the top colleges and I knew looking into my CET score that I wouldn't get admission there. So I went on searching for the next top colleges and found that DBIT was one of the good colleges. I joined the college through the CET quota. The cut off was around 70 thousand and so I was able to join. Once the counselling at the cet was done we had to submit the admission order and that's all we have to do.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in the mechanical field. If there are 140 students then there will be some 15 to 20 lecturers. The faculty here are highly qualified like they have done masters and their overall teaching is good. The exams purely depend on VTU but the internals was conducted once a month.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internshala is one company that had offered internships for many of the students. There were many projects done like solar cars, mini drones, acetylene gas, and many such projects are being done here which help us to understand the outcomes of it.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester itself but most of the companies come during the 8th semester. The companies that visited the campus are Infosys, TCS, MINDTREE, MPHASIS, INTELLIPAT, etc. The highest package according to my knowledge is 6 lpa. Almost 60% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike if you join through the CET quota it will be fixed and that amount only has to be paid every year. There will be a scholarship like E-Pass and SSP. I got placed in a company with a package of 3.45 lpa.

Campus Life

We have an annual fest named Vismay which is conducted in every even semister where we are allowed to display our extra knowledge that we have. Talking about the books and journals we have a lot in our library and all the things that we require is available in the library. We have a facility that we can watch a recorded video anytime and anywhere thorugh impartus platform.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
