I couldn't clear JEE so I applied to a bunch of private colleges but I chose this one over the others was because of its placement statistics and also hearing from others what the college is like and how's the life here

The admissions are very easy and online , you need to apply for the admission over the website then you'll be asked to come and pay the fees for a day which is conducted very nicely. The early registration costs 1100/- and it is not refundable.

I wanted to go to thappar university but due to its fee being overbudget I had to choose chitkara if I had the money I would have definitely choosen thapar because the scope of placement for thapar is far greater than chitkara.

To be eligible for Bacholar of engineering, students must have 60.0% in 12th(PCM). Application forms can be easily downloaded or can be filled online very easily by going on the site of chitkara university, the process of payment is very smooth and you can get all the updates on your provided email id. 15% seats are exclusively reserved for the candidates of Punjab domicile in Chitkara University,Punjab whereas 25%seats are reserved for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh in Chitkara University, HP. Honestly i dont like how the counselling process was it took too long and i prefer if it was online it was more better and chois would be less.

For the admission you first have to fill the application form and then there is first come first serve basis. There are various orientation sessions where you get admission. Few seats are reserved for females and categories of reservation. There is a huge crowd in Chitkara like endless people. They should reduce their admission intake
