A MBA student from CGC landran.

Likes

College will provide siblings compensation in fee.
College is neat and clean, including gardens and greenery.
Faculties are very helpful and friendly in nature.

Dislikes

There is more crowd here lately, so it will be an issue.
Classes are 9 to 4.30 so it becomes hectic.
College Campus is small as compare to CU.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from semester 3rd and the also get internship after 2nd semester. Placement rate is quite impressive as we look for the fee. In short more than 75% of the students will get placed and remaining will get offers as well but they don't join. My plan after MBA is be a good manager at some biggest company.

A college with great placement

Likes

Firstly I like the supportive faculty of colleges
Secondly I like the hygiene and cleaning in campus
Third I like the campus view and there are a lot of things that I like

Dislikes

The girl boy ratio ,there are only 10 girls over 30 boys having 1:4
Other that this there is nothing that I disliked about my college
Other than this there is nothing that I disliked about my college

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement There are a lot of companies who visit our college like Wipro, autocad etc they offers a quite good package and highest package of the college is 45 lpa and the avarage package is 5-6 lpa Around 70% students get the placement

Great infrastructure and well designed blocks
Faculty is really helpful and supportive and also motivates in participating in events
Special training is also provided by college for placement drives

Dislikes

There is no air conditioning in classes and blocks
There is no free Wifi in the college, but have firewall authenticated one

Faculty's expertise and teaching methods are best which are taught by the teachers one to one doubts sessions are even taken
If we talk about infrastructure it is very good it is full of greenery which helps to make a good environment even
Personal and professional skills are worked from 1sem even teachers help to develop our personal skills in 1 st year and from 2 nd year placement training program is started

Dislikes

I haven't liked the some subjects like physics and chemistry why are they being I know it is not the mistake of college but is of ptu
I haven't liked the hostel it is not good food quality is not upto the mark
I haven't liked the restriction made by the college they are making it school not college no enjoy is there

From 3 rd year students are eligible for campus placement There are a lot of campus placement provided by colleges Around more than 900 companies visit campus for placements The placement ratio is 100 percent for the students who get 7+ cgpa

All i know about the CGC Landran

Likes

I liked the teachers and campus very much and there is always something happening in the campus so its overall nice experience
Teaching methods are quite good as i said I didn't know how they teach but as im now here they teach pretty well if you are really dedicated
Tuck shops and food courts ahh i love it they provide every type of food within the campus with proper indoor and outdoor sitting

Dislikes

Regular classes till 4:30 makes overall schedule a liytle hectic
Bad security guard behaviour is quite a case in the busy morning
Bad mess food sometimes its good but most of the time bad

Placement Experience:

Cgc landran has storng placement rates with over 700 companies visiting our college for placement drives and in addition the highest package here was discussed was 45 LPA in engineering branch if there is no on campus placement, you can apply for Off campus and with college degree you can easily get easily job, which pays you around 30 to 30 5K a month

My life at Chandigarh Engineering College

Likes

College is often the studenta live away from home. Providing aa sense of freedom and responsibility
Meeting people from diverse background and. Forming lasting friendship is aa highlight for many
College offer a wide variety of courses cllubs and activities allowing students to participate

Dislikes

Attendence system is very strict. There is no fine to over come the absent lecturer.
Balancing academic social life and sometimes work can lead to high levels of stress.
Tution, housing books and other expenses can make college financially challenging for many students

Dream college for students who wants better future.

Likes

The guidance in our college is good. More than 800 companies comes to our campus for placement
There is a team which handles the placement of students. And their training. They guide the students and train them for placement.
Infrastructure of our college is very good.

Dislikes

There is rule of 75 percent attendance which I don't like about my college.
They treat us like school students. And teachers become very srict for small mistakes also.
There is rule to wear a dress in our college for 2 days a week which I don't like.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester student become eligible for campus placements. More than 800+ companies visit our campus for placement some of the companies name are Microsoft, mahindra, TCS etc. The highest package of the campus is 54 lacs and average is 7.5 lacs There is 100 percent placement ratio in our college those who are eligible for placement. After getting degree my plan is to take good campus placement .

Likes

Campus is very first thing i liked and then the campus placement i likes most
And the campus is very green and healthy environment so we can move freely here and there after classes
Classes are also important in this if we not attend classes the letter will be sent to our home

Dislikes

Some of rules of the college like 75 percent attendance criteria
And i also disliked the the way of some security guards of college
College security guards are very aggressive
