Review of CMRIT

Likes

The infrastructure of CMRIT Is very beautiful
Including very well equipped labs spacious classrooms decent library and large food court

Dislikes

Aristotle and sometimes prescribed as unfair disciplinary system

Placement Experience:

CMRIT has a strong placement card with companies like Cognizant TCS and Accenture the college provides ample internships workshops and industries exposure post graduation or plan to pursue full stuck development or data science with options for higher studies of specialised certifications if needed

Likes

The atmosphere, canteen , auditorium etc
The friends, watchman uncles, canteen workers and the owner
And some of the faculties, specially the c programming faculty

Dislikes

2nd year class rooms,and that hod,and all the lab attendant
Less entertainment, the timings of the college
The campus is but smaller,and some expensive items in canteen

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty good with a worthy package but only for those who hav cleared all the exams with zero backs including the soft skills and every single shit in the college and ther is also option for higher education in the campus itself

CMRIT pros and cons

Likes

I liked the extra classes taken by college separately for improvement
I liked the TYL classes that is organised
I like the fest cultural that happens once in a year

Dislikes

I was not happy with the campus life of the college
I am not happy with the college life in the college
I am not satisfied with the canteen of the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the college is very nice The college is held from 8am to 4pm everyday and the extra technical activities are also held every week very nicely and frequently hackathons are held in the college by different departments

I like the environment of this college though it is small but has its own sunshine.
The location of the college is very good like it is located in the middle of market due to which many students get influenced by it and take admission.
The teachers are polite to their students.

Dislikes

I just don't like when the college don't give holiday to us like maxm holiday is of 1 week only. How can a person go to their native if they are from other country so this is so sad
In one day we have to write 2 exam and there is no holiday also in between
There are lots of restrictions in hostel as well and even the food is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Few teachers are teaching well but yeah they should use some teaching materials from video and show the students through projector which helps to understand far better. Like in electronic subject we can show different videos how to do etc

Likes

The infrastructure of college it's really cool
Fest of these college is good if u have good friends u can enjoy a alot
Teachers are good some of them help u so.much

Dislikes

The hostel I don't like they don't give us that comfort according to fees we pay

Placement Experience:

From 5th or 6th semester the students are eligible for placement There are so many companies that visited in here Atleast 60-70% students get the placement My plans after getting is degree is just to earn so much money and enjoy life

Likes

Here you get exposure to many national level competitions like SIH, eYRC, Manthan etc
Since it is present in bengaluru urban region, so you get exposure to many companies for internship
There are many lab availabilities for different departments

Dislikes

There's minimum of 75% attendance criteria
Assignments will be given after every exam, which has to be written in assignment book
Campus size is very small hence reducing your exposure

Placement Experience:

Students starts to apply for placements from end of 6th semester however you have to do one month internship at the end of 4th semester. Currently the highest package offered is 30lpa and average package of college is 6 lpa

CMRIT college

Likes

excellent and well qualified Faculty with good speaking skills and friendly
good infrastructure and good maintainance of the college , with good auditorium and good ground with many games facility
nice and well maintained Labs and Av halls which is used for meetings

Dislikes

the place outside near the college is almost always filled with traffic
the campus size is comparitively small, it may be due to the college location which is one of the it sector
Canteen is small as compared to other colleges ,

Placement Experience:

The average package of the college stands at 6.5 lakhs, i would say its a above decent package as compared to other colleges in the city. They prepare us in every aspect for the placements, there are some of the eligibility for sitting to placemensts like betterment of softskills and apptitude and they even have classes for the betterment of the programs, totally i would say, above decent for getting placed here as last year highest package was around 44lpa in a japanese company

Likes

The teachers are very helpful and kind. They are extremely understanding.
The attendance policy is not strict for most of the departments
The workload is not too hectic and can be easily managed

Dislikes

The canteen is not too big and not a lot of options are present
There is no proper gymnasium and badminton court
The campus is not too big bit it’s small yet cozy

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were taught relevant subjects in today's times like artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, NLP, etc. The curriculum starts from basic and there are mini projects for each sem which helps in applying our skills to real world problems. There should be a little less focus on theoretical concepts. There are 3 internals in each sem , and are 1 hr 30 mins for 50 marks. They are not hard.

Likes

Teachers are cool and provide question banks for all the internals exams
Lots of technical and non technical events take place.
College is karge enough to hang out or bunk. We have good college canteen.

Dislikes

We have college in early morning 8 am kinda tiring
The fests are not that good maybe college could improve in that aspect

Placement Experience:

I am still in 2nd year so I didn't get any placement opportunities. But 3rd years do get lots of placement drives.we have subjects like tyl and english for interview purpose generally aids department gets 7-8 lpa since it's still new course but cse students get upto almost 19lpa

The college is in the heart of city there is metro facility which is very convenient
