BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th semester students become eligible to sit in campus placements. Many reputed companies visit here like IBM, Accenture, PWC, Cognizant, Infosys etc. About 150+ offers were made to our college. The highest package is about 11 LPA last year and Average package was about 5LPA. This year due to recession the percentage got reduced and only 55% Student got placed. I'll look for higher studies that is MBA after completing the degree.

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue computer science as it always intrigued me. The student-faculty ratio is 1:60 The faculty are all qualified. Most have Phd or Mtech. The term exams are difficult but if u study well u can pass with flying colors.

Faculty of this college is not so good annd also not so bad .Some faculaties are so good thar he or she may look loke a frienf ,but some teacher or HODs have high attiutde and ego leval that many irratate you

From 6 th sem you can eligible for campus placements. In college advertisement, you can see many high rated company has come but in reality sone 10-11 company come. Highest are offered 14lacs per anum in 2012 but now 4-5 lacs anum package are offered. In ad 92% but in reality 30-49%.

Students from 7th semester onwards becomes eligible for placements. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. Even Jio visits for recruitment these days. The highest package till date offered is 22lpa and PWC provides above 5.5 lpa packages that are quite good for freshers rest averages around 4.5 lpa. Around 80% percent students both from CSE and IT departments gets placed and 60% overall across all the departments. I plan to get a decent job with a decent wage, higher studies is also one the options.

Students r eligible for placements since 7th semester. Major recruiter is cognizant. 2022 was the best year in terms of placements. Most cse nd IT students will get placed and EE dept is largely neglected. No internship opportunities from college. u have to be in touch with the faculty members as they can recommend you and have sources for internship opportunities. But after all, don,t rely on college for placements. Upskill urself nd go for off-campusing

I am interested in technology field especially in computer science, The faculty and students ratio is 1:60, Faculty are really very friendly and use a very good method to teach, CA1 and Ca 2 are a little bit tough but you should always focus for semister exam,

On campus placement is good enough in this college...one can get multiple offers depending upon his/her abilities. Last year placement record was like 85% of the students were placed . Minimum package : 3LPA Average package: 4.5LPA Highest package: 13LPA

After 6th sem placements starts. Companies like Pwc,EY, Nomura,Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant etc come. Highest package is 18 lakhs and lowest is 1.4 lakhs. Students must have a cgpa more than 6.5 to get college placements. My plan is to pursue M Tech from a renowned IIT.
