Hostel Facilities:

I stay at hostel. There are three beds in our room. An attached bathroom is available. And common bathroom is also available outside the room. Free WiFi is available here. And printout facilities at low cost is available. Meal quality is decent. In the morning Tea and biscuits are served. Rice with vegetables are made before going college. Students get breakfast only on Sunday and Monday. And rest of the days students get tiffin in the evening. At dinner roti with vegetables are served. And rice with vegetables are also served to those who like eat rice at dinner. Registration process: At first the student with guardian must meet the superintendent of the hostel and sign a contract of one year. Payment of three months (20250/-) is required. The amount is not fixed. It may vary with time. Locality: Ascent Boys Hostel is situated at Chiriamore, Kaikhali, Kolkata - 700052.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

The hostel is really poor. I stayed about 6 months in the hostel. The food there is inedible and unhygenic. The rooms are very small. There of us students used to live in a cramped room. And there is no sports or games facility in the hostel

Anti ragging campus there is no ragging in the campus nor outside the campus even in hostel you will not face any ragging

Hostel facility is good you have to 20000 for 3months and you will get food and louding there is no wifi in the hostel, all students can all together pay and can get wifi. Food is not that good, here you will not get breakfast from monday to sat breakfast is only on Sunday.

The hostel facility is better than the other colleges nearby. It costs around 80000 per year. It provides a homely environment. Though the food is not too good, but it's definitely better than what most of the hostels provide.

Campus is very small.. food is average..

Hostel facility is good.. The food quality is decent. Hostel fees for 3 months around 19800 . Hostel have good environment for studies.. There is also some pg and rental room around the college.. But it is quite costly.

My real view about my collage

The rent for hostel is around 6600 per month.you have to share a room with two people. Three people on one room,yes and you only get a bed and no other furniture.it is really congested.the food of our hostel is not so good.

Honest might be Harsh, but Truth. It is important that you should know everything clearly.

See remember that hostel is not your home. So you will not get food as you get in your home. The food here is the biggest problem, specially in boys hostel. Food is not so great, even not so good. You have to survive like you are in forest and craving heavily. Yes and that's true. For the first few months you might eat lot of junks from outside but remember it is only about for few days/months and you will get use to it. Now a days the food has been improved and it tastes better than before it use to. But remember that somewhere the food is the secondary and your placements and studies are the primary one. The Hostel rules are quite strict, but yes it's always there for every boy's hostel and you are too smart to tackle every thing and it's just a hostel. I hope you understand. The rooms are clean and proper hygiene is maintained (sometimes not, but it's secret).

Know everything about B.P Poddar college

Hostel facilities are on an average with rooms provided with 2-3 people in a room.it have meals 3 times a day with special foods on festivals and a helper in hostels.the foods include nonveg on 4 times a week and also includes veg also.The hostel fees are bit higher side but one could get many pgs and flats in nearby within same price range.

The separate hostels for boys and girls and rooms are well maintained and neat amd clean and cleaned everyday Three timed meal provided in the mess and the quality is quite good It cost you around 79200 rupees per year

Review about College environment, Hostel and Placement

The hostel rent per month for first year is Rs6,600. It increases by some amount for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. An additional amount of Rs5000 is given as security deposit that will be refunded when you leave the hostel.The facilities here are good. Food is provided three times a day, rooms and bathrooms are cleaned every week regularly, we have security guards and cameras as well. It's near to the college.
