Overall due to the National Education Policy, the course is designed in such a manner to improve the practical knowledge of students. The syllabus is very nicely designed which helps in the study of other competitive exams like IIT JAM, TIFR and other master entrance exams.

Chemical industry is one of the fastest growing industries in india . I've been intrested in chemistry since my childhood i chose this subject due to my love towards it.yeachings are very good especially practicals are so well managed along with the equipments. As the college is autonomous the papers are set in the institute itself by experienced teachers. The difficulty of exams is fairly moderate.

Here in this college, the teaching faculty is very good the teachers are very cooperative they help students with their small doubts without any hesitation all teachers are Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects.
I Was interested in chemistry right from class 11th. I also had a keen interest in becoming a professor in Chemistry.so I decided to pursue a Graduation from Fergusson College with BSc-Chemistry. The chemistry faculty was overall 14 teachers which comprised 11 male teachers and 3 female teachers. The student-teacher ratio was 1:9 All the teachers were highly qualified and Doctorate holders and were very good at teaching theory as well as practicals. In the curriculum, Continuous assessment was carried out through tests, Group discussions, Presentations, Seminars, etc which helped in enhancing our confidence. Monthly tests were conducted as it was a part of continuous assessments. The passing was not that difficult as it was an autonomous institute and the paper was framed upon the things that teacher had taught us. so exams were not that tough.
I was interested in BSc Chemistry because I had a background in medical sciences. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:55. The faculty were well qualified and experienced, along with the net set of qualified and PHD holders. Exams were semester-wise and they were not that difficult to pass.
According to me Ferguson college is on of the finest in Pune. Its has an amazing capums and as it was made in 1883 has a vintage look. It has free Wi-Fi all around campus. It has 2 basketball courts a football field. The library is huge.
