Placement Experience:

Placements are good for the branches like CS, IS, AIML, CIVIL, EEE, and ECE but not for Biotechnology. No companies visited for the placements of the biotech branch. I have been searching for jobs through liked in and it's already 2 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because I didn't find any kind of interest in any other courses. Faculty and students ratio is fine at the moment. Qualification of faculty doesn't matter when a faculty is capable enough to train the students. Due to the delay in commencement of college the semester ended up quite early with a bit of rush which made it difficult for the students .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall our course in college is excellent when compared to other branches or streams. We have great faculties who have done their masters. It's not much difficult to pass the exams but needs lots of effort to score pretty good marks.

Placement Experience:

In terms of placement, mostly IT companies come, and very few for mechanical. I don't know about other branches. But most companies allow all the departments. CSE And ISE will have good placement every year.

Placements are provided by the college. Students at the end of their sixth semester are given the opportunity to attend the placements. All the students who do not have any backlogs can attend the placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to attend the placements activity when they are promoted to final year. Many companies provide us the opportunities to attend their placement. Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini are frequently visiting companies. Only 10-15 students out of 60 got placed in our batch. The highest package offered in our batch was 6 LPA. In our batch, not even 1/4th of the students were placed in 2022. My plan was to get a job to do work for several years and get into the business in which I'm interested.

Student Snaps:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took mechanical engineering because I like to study engines cars and machinery. Faculty members of the mechanical engineering block have nice behavior toward students and they are supportive. Internals exams will be once a month and after three internals we have to give externals. As the college is under VTU...It is difficult to pass exams.

There are many things to be good for me to present. After graduation, most people are placed in many companies and it is mandatory to pass all subjects and don't have any backlogs in each subject.

What is your review of Acharya Institute of Technology?

Mohit Sarohi
Babita SenStudied at Acharya Institute of Technology

Acharya is known for its stunning infrastructure. If you want to look into the academic section, then the views will be completely different for each department.

Departments:

  • Information Science and the Computer Science department are some of the best wings in AIT.
  • CS and IS faculty are better as there is a distinct expose of knowledge if compared to the department of E&C.
  • Other departments like Mechanical, BT, E&E, Mechatronics are ordinary.
  • It doesn't matter which branch you will choose. You will only do great if you are truly interested in it.

Faculty:

  • Expert faculties and most importantly the HOD, who is one of the best personalities you will ever meet in your life.
  • The higher management is quite helpful as they will assist you in every problem.
  • In engineering, if you want to learn something, you need to learn it on your own. Faculties will only guide you on the right path.

Fees:

  • The college fee structure and hostel fees is quite high as compared to other private colleges.

Placement:

  • Most of the companies recruit students for IT sector from branches like CS and IS.
  • A very few companies come for core branches but most of the companies allow all the departments for the placement.

Overall, the Acharya Institute of Technology is a potential choice.
