What is an honest review of AIT Bangalore?

Students claim that Acharya is known for its stunning infrastructure and great shooting spot. If you look into the academic section, it depends on different departments. The faculty for E&C is not that great compared to CS & IS departments. Other departments like Mechanical, E&E, BT, and Mechatronics are average on teaching scale. The college fee structure and hostel feel is quite high as compared to other private colleges. Higher management is quite friendly, so they will help the students if required. There is scope for extra-curricular activities but not on a large scale. And the most important 'Acharya Habba', a very lavishly celebrated college fest.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Usually, they give us concessions in fees as a scholarship during first-year admission, from the second year onwards there won't be any concessions. They also offer us to pay our fee in easy EMI. It cost me around eight lakhs to complete the whole course. I got a scholarship from govt of Karnataka every year during the course. I didn't get any scholarship from the college side except the fee concession during first-year admission. I was not placed on campus but there good opportunity if you prepare well before. There are students who are placed on on-campus recruitment. The average package offered is 3.6 LPA to 4.8 LPA.

The fee structure is really high definitely not worth the course. No scholarships are given, and fees can be paid through EMI, I haven't got any job yet, currently, I am in the final year, there will be a hike in fees in the final year you need to give 10000 more compared to 2nd and 3rd year.

Truth and life is hard

The fee is really expensive and they don't give a shit about students. All they want is the fee. They didn't even reduce during the covid time too. Sports fee, cultural fee, library fee, and what not was still there even though students were all at home during the lockdown.

Scholorship which we are getting is SSP. They will provide upto 20000 for obc category students. For financial assistance we can pay fees through EMI scheme.and placement drives are going on and companies like wipro,tcs, cognizant, and many others are recruiting.

No I have not opted for any kind of education loan or scholarship. But I have friends who opted for loan and they said it is totally depends on type of admission. KCET students gets loan easily as fee is very less.

EPASS scholarship is the one tie-up from government of Karnataka which many students will be benefited from this.Although this is given based academic merit and caste reservation.So,to avail this scholarship one has to register for EPASS if they are eligible and provide all the necessary attested documents to concerned authority, which they will verify and do the further procedures, after all the mandatory steps if the student is eligible and passed all the steps he/she will be credited with the fixed amout in their bank accounts.

Yeah scholarship are based on categories. SC/ST have separate facility and other backward classes people are also have some facility and there is fee concession scholarship and food and accommodation for who stay in hostel.

No such scholarships available as i know. Scholarships are provided from government of Karnataka through the assessment of candidates marks category etc
