Academy of Technology Hooghly Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 6-7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited our college - TCS, Cognizant, KPIT, Persistent, IBS, Trianz, MindTree, CTS, TISMO, IBM, etc. Number, of offers made per year- per student minimum 1-2 offers. The highest package company provides - 6-7LPA. and Average Package company provides - 3-4LPA Percentage of students getting placed - near about 95-97% each year. After getting the degree my plan is to either pursue further higher education (M.tech) or continue with the company where I have been placed.

Placement of this college before this year are so good but at this time Placements are dropped . Due to recession 40 to 50 percent only are placed. I hope placement may better in recent year. Here many company visit like tcs , cognigent, wipro etc

From 7th semester students are applicable for campus placement. there are many type of company visit like TCS ,Cognigent,KPIT ,Wipro ,etc Here highest package is approx 22 lakh and average package is 4 lakh per annum. Approx 80 % student every year placed.

In the current market scenario the CSE has the most job oppertunity rahter than any other stream in the engineering college. So I opted for the course as from my school days I loved development so it will be better if passion meets your career goal. But one thing I have pointed the faculty is quite good but the members need to update their teaching process and in this dynamic world day by day things are changing in every stream so if they carry out their steriotype mindset in teaching students that wont be benifitial for the students in the long run Still some of the faculty members are very good they always inspire the students for their own development. The facutly members are average qualified some of them are PHD qualified but most of them are from the masters Now comming to the exams the exams are conductud by makaut and they have their general question pattern but in case of the internal exams the questions are moderate to easy

From 5th semester, students are able for placements. Many companies come in our college, all branches are available for placements. Average is 4.5 lpa, highest on campus - 14+ lpa. Many students get 3-4 offers

The course curriculum is very fine.The faculty members are very helpful.And Faculties are well educated and The teaching method is good.the term exam is on time and exam are very difficult to score good arksif you study well you will absolutely get good marks.

From the starting of the 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placement. TCS, CTS, IBS, TRIANZ, KPIT, MINDTECH, TECH-MAHINDRA etc companies visited on campus, big techs hire 40-50 students, but TCS and CTS hires most of the students. Highest package goes upto 7lpa, and avg package is 3.5lpa, most of the profiles offered are tester or developer. Maximum students got placed, a few amount of students are left unplaced. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job and make a lots of money in the upcoming year of my life and then travel the world????.

The Course Curriculum at Aot or Academy of Technology college is based on Makaut University. Our course curriculum is not up to date and it is outdated.Our course curriculum includes Subjects like engineering biology,EVS,etc.

Only service based companies and mass recruiters like TCS , Wipro , cognizant, Capgemini , etc visits our College campus for placements. You are eligible for placements in the final year of your Btech degree.
