Likes

Scholarships like nsp etc are provided to students by applying to respective forms and staff is helpful.
The helpful faculty of the college which provide the students with valuable information and inside into the academic knowledge needed to succeed in life . the understanding of the teachers towards the students.
Placement cell is very supportive and number of companies they have manage to bring to the table is great.

Dislikes

The teachers teach well, but due to low strictness levels and no discipline there is high irregularity of attendance and students don't attend classes properly.
Faculty is little bit not so qualified. but they are so much arrogant.
The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:60 in core subjects and it goes slightly lower for the electives.

A review of dyal singh college

Likes

Canteen : It gives good food at a reasonable price .
Location: the university is located at the most Porache area of Delhi
Near by famous places are lodhi garden , humayun tomb , India gate etc

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good inside the college , the benches and not good .
Poltics is rampant in the college so beware and try to avoid it as much as possible.
Placement opportunity are very less in my course especially so remember it before coming to the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good for those people who are interested in general science and their affection in general science is chemistry. You will get a lot of practical classes of physics and chemistry and you will study all the three subjects ( physics, chemistry, maths ). Although I don't know much about the relevance but it this course will give you more options when you want to choose from which field you want to do your masters .

Faculty is very good in this college as almost teachers are phd
The college has lavish campus full of trees and flowers
The college has bog library to study and good books

Dislikes

I don’t like the timetable structure of the college
The toilets are not clean everyday.sometimes smell come from them
The canteen is big but it feels unheiginic

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite knowledgeable.Anyone who has interest in math should do maths honours.Its quite interesting.The faculty is also very good.Almost teachers are phd's and very interactive.They create a peaceful environment to study

Dyal Singh College - A unique experience

Likes

The college has a diversified crowd from different parts of the country.
The college has a really good societies .
The faculties are really supportive and cooperative.

Dislikes

The timings of the classes are really hectic
Some of the faculties are ignorant of the concerns of students.
Frequent fights are observed on any fest or event.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it mainly focuses on computer science without any need to study the other science subjects. There is one teacher for around 60 students. The faculty is highly qualified with most of them holding PhD .Exams are held semester wise and not at all difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

Capmpus placements at our college start from the 5th semester onwards. We have had companies like Flipkart , Messho , Myntra, Maruti Suzuki visiting , offering a decent number of job offers . The highest package offered was 20LPA with an average package of 5LPA across various profiles. About 80% of students secure placements.

My experience at Delhi University as a first sem student.

Likes

i loved the size of the campus, it is absolutely huge, the gardens at the backside of the campus are gorgeous
I liked the proximity of the college to all the posh areas in south delhi
The society scene is very active and you'll definetely make a lot of interesting memories

Dislikes

. I feel that there could be better infrastructure, but its still great considering its a government college.
The placements at the colloge are not the greatest and could be a lot better than what they are now.

Placement Experience:

I am still a first sem student, but when it comes to placements , from whatever I've heard from seniors the average package gets to around 5-6LPA. which is pretty decent imo. Highest package was around 12LPA Last year. My plan after college is to go comolete my masters and also do some freelance coding.

I chose thus course because i liked mathematics and i had commerce with maths in 12 th....teacher over here are very helpful and will give you all the possible support to..study well. The unversity is very punctual related to the term exam

Little Spark Living his Life in DSC

Likes

The environment and the student strength of the college
The extra curricular activities that are held in the college for overall development of our personality .
The way the labs are held and managed and classes are held on time

Dislikes

Cancellation of classes by several teachers
The unavailability of clean drinking water and maintenance of the washrooms for the students
The security issues while entrying the college from both the gates

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course to get acheive my dream of being a lecturer for Physics. The faculty have a very good experience and the way they behave with the students is delight and helpful . The labs are divided into groups for students and the ratio is 30:1 . The teachers are very well qualified and they have a very good teaching method and the term exams are ongoing .

Living My Dream in DSC

Likes

The well behaved nature of seniors . The way they help us is too good
The way teachers behave and are so helpful sot hat none of the freshers feel awkward
The well equipped labs of physics and chemistry and the new science block

Dislikes

The protests happening in colleges due to which a sense of violence is created
The way teachers cancel the class after reaching the college
The clashing of the classes of various teachers and the pressure of projects in last of the sem

I choosed this course to do my graduation in physics and after that my ug in physics also. The faculty at this college is good ... They interact with students in good manner and they are caring and helpful towards students. The faculties are well qualified and have lots of knowledge. The teaching method of the faculty is good and awesome. The term exams are going to be held in December and mid January

Rising Heights in DSC

The campus here is nice and the environment here is quite nice.
The teachers here are very good and teach very well.

Classes do not start on time, there is time lapse.
The nature of people here is bad, people manipulate

The people here are very nice and I liked it very much that Ayan came and I am very happy that I got the college here, the studies are very good, the studies are very good, the food from the canter is very good like the food from the house.
