I liked the Cousre because of its multi speciality like in cardio, Nephrology, Neurology, respiratory care and also Gastroenterology
I liked the Library facility of my college with free internet access
On time Exams and postings for the Students learning and skill development

Dislikes

Administration is not that upto date to meet the expectations of students
This Course has eligibility issues as not provided in any university except SKIMS
I disliked the Non availability of hostels for boys

Placement Experience:

Placement is entirely depend on the Exams held after degree.. No companies visit here only Placement in medical feild is done Highest package is 33500 per month 70% of passouts get placed in Own institute but rest has to apply for sm where else My plan is to appear for Masters in AIIMS delhi .then PhD

Overall SHER-I- KASHMIR INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES is a medical university and college of great level and skill build

Likes

Fee structure is low that is affordable for even a poor family.
Quality of infrastructure as well education is above par. Practical skills are at next level.
Effectiveness of placement is brilliant for the students studying in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I rate my course 8/10. Frequency of exams is yearly and timing is of great. The level of exams is best and enhancing the knowledge of students how to gain knowledge. Areas of improvement is almost nill

Skims my dream college

Likes

There is 1:1 boys girls ratio. There is no discrimination. All the students get equal opportunity.
The facilities are good, we have playground for cricket and football, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis table and many more sports
The location is also very good and convenient, its on the national highway and close to city center, there’s almost every facility available

Dislikes

The campus is not yet complete, many buildings and still under process.
The patient load is very much in the hospital
No hostel for interns and 1st year students yet

Infrastructure,availability of resources here
Best hospital facilities,Best faculties here
College ground is big mess is good overall good

Dislikes

Timings are much longer for UGs but it can be managed sometimes
Canteen prices should be lower as compared to other colleges
Water supply should be good and electricity too

Life in SKIMS medical College Srinagar as MBBS student

Location : Easily reachable located at national highway (NH 1) in Bemina area of Srinagar City
Campus: college has total 300 acres of land.
University: college to affiliated to Shere Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura

Dislikes

Hostel: No hostel facility for 1st and 2nd year students
Locality: stationary shops are not located nearby to college
Infrastructure: Main college building and 2nd hospital block are under construction and it will take around 2 to 3 years

College provide admission to MBBS and MD &MS courses in some departments NMC CBME curriculum is followed in college Theory and clinical posting classes are taken as per NMC curriculum For clinical posting in campus hospital and soura hospital are used Exams are conducted as per NMC guidelines

A brief review of skims medical college srinagar bemina

College is located in a very beautiful valley srinagar
Clinical exposure of our college is way better than other GMC
Teachers are very interactive and dedicated

Dislikes

There is big problem of hostel accommodation
Only after 1 year they give you the govt hostel which is way to hectic for student in first year to manage their studies
There is no better ground for students to play

Exams in skims are extremely tough and clinical based And one thing in skims that they provide clear image of the students reports and also they send letter to parents for the students to improve and they introduce various teaching methods to enhance the students clinical knowledge and make him/her a better doctor for the future

The faculty membres ard very nice and very helpful and cooperatives
A very invironment is provided here in campus in relation of junior wiith senior and with faculty members
A very disciplined system of education and amd very strict staff related to imbalance in disciplene

First thing that i dislikd is that no large campus
And have no better qualities of labes and no better building for better envioronmt biologically

It is for about approx. 5.5 years of duration it can be two semesters per year for passing. The college contains a large no. of professors for each subject I want to help People as it can be possible. All professors have a high quality of education front different standard institutes so have a standard quality of education. About 5 months are given for the first term exam and these are very difficult to get passing marks and have a very tough examination method for Indian Medical.

From the 5th semester onwards students are eligible for campus No-till now But I have heard that an average of 1-1.5lakh per month 80%-70% might be getting placement in the same or any other institutions Teaching the students of the same very institution
