Candidates who are working at any organisation: Such part-time PhD candidates are required to submit a 'No Objection certificate' on a proper letter head from the competent authority of the organization clearly starting the following : (i) The candidate is permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis (ii) His/her official duties permit him/her to devote sufficient time for education and research Candidates who are not working at any organisation are not required to submit any such document However, if after admission into PhD program, such candidate gets into any kind of employment, the above-mentioned documents must be submitted forth with. The candidate will have to follow all other regulations of Al-Karim University as other students

1.ELIGIBILITY FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE COMPLETED MSc, MEDICAL OR OTHER MASTER DEGREE COURSES

A candidate seeking admission in PhD programme in faculty of medicine should have a full-time master degree in relevant discipline or a professional degree declared equivalent to master degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade)

2.ELIGIBILITY FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE COMPLETED MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCH COURSES

The candidates should have 55% marks in agrregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale in MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCH with 55% marks.
