There are so many aspects for choosing me nursing is like passion of helping others,it is a novel profession , interested in health care.Also safe for career stabilities because high demand of nurses world wide .The areas for improvement is ward area and practical area .The timing of for sessional exam is 30 1 hour and for semester is 3 hours .

I like this college for its career especially in technology and related fields
We got too much exposure for this and ground reality experience direct interaction with patients
This college is famous for its infrastructure. This is only College in patna which has linear accelerator as a cancer treatment plan

Dislikes

I can say this. College is very strict about discipline
The schedule is bit tight cuz we have to be punctual .
Very thing is disciplined here.which is sometimes pressurising

Curriculum is good . Session goes smooth we have to take our speed maintained . Highly influential and energetic Areas for improvements in this course is that diploma is not provided here now it's degree course now Classes are regular

Verse of IGIMS

Likes

I like the infrastructure and faculties of my college and faculties treat us like family
I like facilities and availability of people around us
I like good surrounding and positive attitude of students

Dislikes

There are some things I dislike like long class hours
Clinicals are so hectic and long that we don't have time for ourselves
We can't stand clinic hours for so long..uff

The salary of nursing officer attracted me to this course People generally appreciate my decision around me and I have so much learning in this college There is need of certain improvement as in field of teaching ofcourse Exams happens every 2 months

The infrastructure is very very nice as compared to the other colleges of bihar
Education system and facilities are very nice
Management is very good . The process is well understood. Staffs are cooperative

Dislikes

Less ward teaching . There is no much exposure in the 1st and 2nd year .
You need to run all along for the facilities to avail
Caste system and groupism is privileged . Some of the facilities do discriminate on the basis of caste

Course Curriculum Overview:

No doubt MBBS course is very vast in itself. It's requires patience time and endurance. Yes it sucks. But at the end you will be a doctor. A good clinician . If one balance life health and study properly its gonna be a piece of cake .

Likes

Excellent acedemics best in bihar, professor take regular classes each student get a separate mentor to whom they can share their personal problem and acedemics problems also
Boys to girls ratio is nearly 1:1 good social interaction
Infrastructure is one of best in bihar with beautiful campus

Dislikes

Lots of classes from 8AM to 5PM with only 1hr break at lunch

Curriculum is very good focus more on practicals rather than theory From 1st year onwards you have to attend early clinical exposure from this you can interacts with patients which will help you to develop clinical skills Exams take places every 2-3 months

Academics is excellent. Faculties are always available.
Infrastructure of the campus is best as compared to any medical college of Bihar.
Hospital equipments are advanced. Hygiene is maintain all around the campus.

Dislikes

Hostel is not available for 1st year MBBS students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally want to choose this stream because in this stream one can help people at the grassroot level. For each chapter /unit there is different faculty Faculty qualifications are either MD/MS Or DM/Mch Terms exams is according to the schedule provided at the time of admission Bit though to pass but with dedication and presence in the class one can pass easily.

IGIMS is one of the best medical colleges in Bihar with top notch infrastructure and best real world teaching experience

Likes

At the very first day of admission, I just loved the well done infrastructure of the college. The lecture theatres are very nice with projectors installed. There is a badminton court made outdoors for the students to play.
The teachers are very hard working. They put efforts in teaching. For first year in anatomy department there ia a cadaver room.
The best thing is you get paid the most in internship when compared to other medical colleges in bihar i.e ₹30,000 per month.

Dislikes

The patient load is very high which is a good thing . But difficulty arises to accomplish them and their relatives.
Patients sleep over the streets in college which disturbs our privacy in college.
There should be more encouragement towards co-curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

After the final professional exam of fourth year students ,IGIMS provides paid internship to students of Rs.30,000 per month for a year. After this either you can prepare for neet pg or can apply for JRship or SRship in IGIMS which pays you upto Rs.1,00,000 per month. After neet pg, IGIMS provides seats of every branch and placement opportunities are also good.

IGIMS IN FULL DETAIL

Likes

Best in infrastructure similar to AIIMS standerd( Eg, 4 Lecture theatre all have wifi and smart boards , well cushioned chairs for sitting , Library has centralised ac and wifi it remains open 24×7 so no restriction of timing.
Hostels are fully wifi has its own parking for bike as well as cars , all hostels have lift and a special bathroom for divyang
Have its own playground for cricket and football court for badminton, vollyball, common room for Table tennis ( 6 boards in total) and gym equipments like treadmill, bechpress, cross trainer etc

Dislikes

Hostels don't have centralised ac and that is even not a problem since 4 years there no canteen for doctor and students.

After passing 3rd professional part 2 you will be eligible for internship which is of 1 year and after completion of internship you can joining as Non academic JR in igims or in other colleges and salary varies form 80k to 120k or your can crack Neet pg and you can join as academic JR same as Non academic JR . I can do non academic jrship fow few month but I have to prepare for Neet pg

Life in IGIMS

Likes

Very good patients flow which helps in clinical practice
Good environment and well developed infrastructure

Dislikes

Regular classes are not provided here not having professors and lecturers

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well our course is excellent if students are guided properly. They must provide regular classes and practical under the guidance of teachers and professor. Student can open their own clinic or can work in private and government sector its based on their skills.

Likes

Academic is very good. Syallabus complete on time.
Exam occur on schedule time table by NMC.

Dislikes

Air conditioner in Lecture theatre is not always functional.
Lift is not functional many times always
No fund is given by college to conduct college fest.

MBBS course in igims is best in bihar as it's academic is very well and syllabus always completed on time . Stipend should be increased yearly in internship by ten 10 percent .As inflation is increasing.
