- They have got very great teaching skills and they mentor us very well.
- Hostel facility is very good ... food is very healthy and heygenic ...our bathroom condition is all good and ofcourse in our batch we got a new hostel so we are lucky enough ..so i would recommend this college
- Campus life is the best , infrastructure of this college is also very nice as it is the first medical college of assam.
Dislikes
- The hostel food is worst, the hostel rooms are quite bad
- I reside in 350 bedded boys hostel in which we are provided double room which consists of bed table chair balcony etc the hostel mess is not so good .
- We are given daily the same meal and the quality of the food is not so good

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because I want to be a good doctor. This college is near to my hometown. The student-faculty ratio is 150:25. All the faculties are already passed doctors so they very well in teaching, they teach us in projector board. Professors are very helpful. Sometimes they give extra time to solve our doubt. After every 3 month they conduct semester exams and after completion of the session, they conduct University exams also known as professional exams.

All the facilities in our college are very talented, they teach us in unique ways and very properly. They clears every doubt in class itself. They conduct exam in every month and display results in college notice board.

My class has around 150 students and the faculty in each department is around 20, all the faculty are well trained, they teach very interestingly and help students in every field. Exams are conducted every month to assess students.

This college is the oldest medical college in Assam. The admission in based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks scored in NEET (UG) exam. Usually this exam is held in the month of May every year and the counselling is scheduled in the month of June/July. If you want to come through State Quota, you need to check dmeassam website after the exam is over.
