International students can pay tuition fees at the University of Calgary via the following modes:

How to Pay Fees at the University of Calgary

Paying fees via Convera Global Pay and CIBC Student Pay:

• Click the link above to proceed with the payment.
• Select the country from where the payment is being made.
• Select the options for which payment is to be made (Fees, Residence, or others).
• There will be no additional fees charged (aside from the exchange rate) if payment is made through bank transfer or wire payment.
• Payment via credit cards will be charged an additional fee (2-2.75%) aside from the exchange rate.
• If the student is using a bank transfer or a wire payment, then they should print the instruction copy and take it to the local bank, and the bank will help to facilitate the transaction.
• If the student is using online banking/credit card, then there is no need to visit a local bank.

Paying Fees via External Awards/Scholarships/Bursaries:

• External agencies can pay the student fees via the above methods, money order, or by physical cheque.
• The address to pay via physical cheque or money order is: Accounts Receivable, MacKimmie Tower, 2500 University Drive NW, Calgary, Alberta T2N 1N4.
• It should be submitted as soon as possible, preferably 30 days before the start of the term.
• Processing by cheques can take up to 4 weeks; if there is any delay in fee processing by external agencies, interest charges are incurred on the students.

• Sponsors are third-party like government agencies, companies, and others, who wish to pay fees for you.
• Students will be required to attach a sponsor letter via students service request, Third Party Sponsorship application.
• Third Party Sponsorship application becomes available after accepting the offer and paying the deposit fee.
• Payment can be made via cheques.

University of Calgary Fees Instalment

International students are eligible for fee instalment at the University of Calgary, provided that they fulfil the following conditions:

• You have no unpaid fees.
• You meet the minimum tuition fees of CAD 500 / INR 33,200 during fall and winter semesters.

If you meet the above criteria, you are qualified to pay fees in instalments. The instalment plans can be in the following ways:

• For course-based graduate, undergraduate, and MD tuition fee programs: 3 instalments (fall and winter semesters)
• For thesis-based graduate tuition fee programs: 4 instalments (fall and winter semesters)
