What Students Say
Likes
- Good ranking, One of the most beautiful province of Canada, less tax.
Dislikes
- I would say there is no particular reason to dislike the university. It offers us everything a student expects and wishes for. The one thing that I do not like is how cold Calgary gets during the winters, bone-chilling cold!! It stays around negative thirty for most of the winters. That is one thing to keep in mind while selecting this university. Although, Canada is a very nice and diverse country, winters are one thing to be afraid of.
Required Exams for Admission
A life changing experience. I grew a lot here. The people, community, atmosphere, everything is on par if not better than the best universities out there.
Course Curriculum
The curriculum is really good for electrical students. I was a computer science major and had limited options to choose from.
Faculty
Do not have a particular ratio.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. Huge library, with personal rooms to study, create art, and much more. Events throughout the year, very lively. WIFI is okay, not the best. Amazing sports facilities, one of the best campus infrastructure.
Placement
There is no campus placement in CANADA. You have to search for a job yourself, apply to it yourself, and prepare for it yourself.
Accommodation
I rented a room, ranges anywhere from $550-$1300.
Exams
IELTS: 7.5. Apart from that, we have to answer few questions during the application process. We also need three LORS to apply.
Fees
27,000
Scholarship
I was teaching assistant for 3 semesters out of the 4. Was interviewed.
