Required Exams for Admission

IELTS (7)

Overall experience is very good. The university has all bases covered residence, academics, sports, recreation, and research( also no 1 university in research) and Calgary is the 4th best city to live in, in the world according to the global liveability index.

Course Curriculum

10

Very well balanced curriculum plenty of research opportunities, internships, hands on experience in a lot of labs.

Faculty

9

The ratio is 4:1. Staff is very nice and experienced. Dr. Paul Ziade (fluid mechanics Proff.) and Dr. Thi Dhin (linear algebra) very motivating and always pushing students to new heights.

Campus Life

10

Very good plenty to do in every way possible. Sports, recreation, movies anything you can think of. The university has its own football stadium and and Olympic ice skating ring also hosted the Olympics back in 90’s.

Placement

9

95% employment rate and about 80% students get internships very good academic counseling, tons of graduates work in companies like google, apple, boing, Microsoft, ford, and tesla.

Accommodation

Off Campus
10

On campus accommodation is limited and expensive but really nice to have as there is heavy snow fall almost all of fall and winter terms and temps as low as -35 C can be expected in the winter so it is really nice to be on campus as all the residence builds are connected via tunnels to all buildings on campus never have to go out in the cold.

Exams

Grade 12 CBSE non medical 90% minimum; IELTS 7 bands over all minimum with no category less than 6.0 bands. At least 3 letters of recommendation from grade 12 teachers in physics, Maths and English/Chemistry. Need a strong SOP clearly indicating the interest in particular program and why the particular university and when did you realize this was a program you wanted., CV should reflect EXTRACURRICULARS very important for a high ranking university in Canada only marks will not get you through the screening process. Best cv additions are a role where you demonstrate leadership, teamwork and clear hobby/passion project related to the subject. You have to show you are interested the subject for example for mechanical engineering a hobby of fixing/tuning your bike/bicycle/car or a project into some kind of a simple day to day item like a show rack you built yourself will look very good as it shows true passion.
