Required Exams for Admission
I knew professor here at University of Calgary as I did internship under him in my 3rd year of B.tech. Its an different experience from a typical Indian college, here everything is run by students, there is no concept of placement, students nee to approach company for jobs and internships. One can get to experience best faculty at UCalgary and best infrastructure and one of the cleanest city in Canada.
Course Curriculum
They are good and up to mark to get into research or industry.

All faculty have research and teaching experience of more than 15 yrs., they are masters of their fields.
Campus Life
Campus is great, there are various food courts available inside university, many events and concerts are hosted, sport team of UCalgary are one of the best in Canada.
Placement
Placement is based on reference in Canada. One need to build strong network for placements median salary is about 70000CA$.
Accommodation
I live on an off campus room where I pay rent of about 600CA$ per month + 200CA$ for groceries and etc. Here we have Heater, shared bathroom, microwave, gas stove, toaster.
Exams
My scores: GRE 166 Verbal 160 Quant 4.5 Writing; IELTS 7.5; Class minimum score: GRE 322. SOP should mention your intent behind doing Masters in particular course, it is read by universities very carefully, 2nd important thing is letters of recommendation and third important thing is CV, make sure you have updated your cv well before the application day and cv have some highlights relevant to course you are doing MS in. 1 interview round was there - I was asked about lab safety and training questions, 2nd my motivation to apply for this course and then some personal questions like family, hobby etc.
