The overall experience here is very good not excellent, as the fees for international student are very high , but for the students who are Canadian they have to pay less fees.

Overall experience is very good. The university has all bases covered residence, academics, sports, recreation, and research( also no 1 university in research) and Calgary is the 4th best city to live in, in the world according to the global liveability index.
I got offered funding which significantly reduced the financial burden. I got acceptance by American universities also but I preferred Canada.
I wanted to get into this university because of the course structure and the city. Calgary is one of the best places in Canada to live. The fees are also low than other universities.
I chose the University of Calgary because it offered a lot of perks. It has always been a dream of mine to go into medical school in Canada, and a strong undergrad program is an essential requirement. UofC Neuroscience is top-notch, and is a small cohort of highly motivated, intelligent individuals, as only 30 are accepted each year. It is ultra competitive, but worth it as I wanted to be with other like-minded people who were striving for the same goals as me. Additionally, this program has guaranteed research funding, and getting a research position is really simple ( a perk not offered in other science programs), so this definitely stuck out to me. Additionally, having an opportunity to do a Honours thesis on a field of neuroscience in my 4th yr sounded really cool to me.
The Petroleum Engineering program at the University of Calgary is one of the best in Canada.
-The important factor of UCalagry is the fees. The college offers great program at affordable Tuition. -I am currently pursuing AI and Machine Learning where professor are currently conducting research on Human and Computer Interaction. -The Campus is one of the best in that of Canada and widely spread. -Its program offered by Schulich is one of the highest reputed in the country. -The Internship opportunities are ample. -The college ranks 151-200 globally, has transfer programs with UCLA, UCSD etc
