COMEDK UGET 2013 Exam Analysis
The level of difficulty of the COMEDK UGET 2013 exam can best be described as moderate. The overall test format required the knowledge and understanding of three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with a balance of conceptual questions and numerical questions across each subject.
- Physics: The Physics section was determined to be moderately challenging. Many of the questions targeted theoretical and numerical questions, covering Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Optics. The more deeply the candidate knew the concepts of Physics, the greater success with the Physics portion of the test. A few inquiries were conceptually and theoretically deep, hence strength in those areas served these candidates particularly well.
- Chemistry: The Chemistry section was considered slightly easier than the other two sections. The Chemistry section also examined Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry concepts, and overall Organic Chemistry was the most prevalent area represented. In particular, the section consisted of reasonable organic chemistry questions that emphasized topics of General Organic Chemistry and reaction mechanisms.
- Mathematics: The Mathematics section was defined as moderately difficult as well. The areas of focus included Calculus, Algebra and Coordinate Geometry. Within the section, some lengthy and complicated problems necessitated significantly strong mathematics problem-solving ability, thus making this section the most time-consuming.
