University of Texas Tuition Fee Payment

The University of Texas at Austin does not partner with services like Flywire or Convera (unlike many other U.S. universities). Tuition fees for international students can be paid through the payment methods officially provided by the university on its website.

International students can pay online and must complete their registration online at My Tuition Bill using one of the following methods:

  • Card: The university accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express for tuition payments, with all card transactions subject to a non-refundable convenience fee of 2.3%.
  • eCheck: Online payment by check.
  • Electronic Funds Transfer: Submit a bank authorization online.
  • Pay with Financial Aid at the View Bill option of My Tuition Bill.

  • Pay in Person: Payments can be made in person at the Cashier’s Office located in the Main Building (MAI), Room 8, from Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The office accepts personal checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash; however, credit and debit cards are not accepted for in-person payments at this location.
  • Installment Plan: To confirm enrollment, non-residents must pay USD 5,000 (INR 4.53L). The remaining balance is due by the 12th class day. If you do not pay the remaining amount by that deadline, the university will automatically place you on a payment installment plan, and you will be charged an additional USD 15 (INR 1,360) fee.

  • Most of the courses in the US are updated to the current market requirements and trends; UT Austin is knows for it's research and is highly funded by the government. One of the richest universities because of the research grants and endowments.

Fees

  • Around $13,000 per semester for tuition including insurance. And around $1000 for living expenses per month.

  • Yes, I was able to work with a company on an industry project.
  • 1 class per day on average - 9 hours of classes per week.
  • My program cohort is about 30 students. Each of my courses on average had 50-60 students.

Fees

  • Usually you have about 9 hours of a class a week. Timings vary by class. Most of your day will be spent doing homework, assignments and projects for the course.

  • The difficulty level of the program is very high if you are looking to get 4.0 GPA and the program is more practical than theoretical and you get to solve business problems while working in a class project
  • The program is tech heavy which makes for its positive aspect and one negative aspect would be that if you don't have a background in tech you will have a lot of difficulties running in the program pace
  • I have on average 3 classes per day and they start from morning 10 am to evening 7 pm with a lot of break-time to study in between; typically the classes are 2 hour long
  • The average number of students in my class are 60
  • There are 30-40 Indian (International) Students in my program

Fees

  • I had 3 semester for my Masters in Business analytics course(Summer, Fall and Spring). For the Summer Semester I had to pay $8000 for fees and $1200 for insurance and ISSS (Out of this I had to pay $2000 at the time of admission confirmation which got deposited to the Summer Semester Fees). For the Fall Semester I had to pay $21500 as fees and $1500 for insurance and ISSS fees. For the Spring Semester also I had to pay $21500 as fees and $1500 for insurance and ISSS fees
  • The fees is charged semester-wise for my prograM
  • 1200$ should be a good estimate of the monthly expenses $900-$1000 on rent, $200 in groceries (You get good places nearby campus which are at walking distance to college and if at all you stay far away from college you get free bus travel using your UT Id card)

  • The course is very hectic and requires prior knowledge and experience of data analytics/data science. It is a mix of both theory and lots of practical projects
  • The most positive aspect is the brand value that the program has in the industry, while the negative will be short course duration and heavy workload
  • One will have 3 to 4 classes depending on their electives. Classes start at 8:30 in the morning and go till 8:30 in the night. But one gets sufficient brakes between classes as well during class.
  • Average number of students in your class: 60 in each section, total 2 sections.
  • 50% off-class population is Indian.

Fees

  • The total fee is $53,000, which includes tuition and admission fee. There is no hostel fee and students need to arrange their lodging on their own.
  • Fee is charged each semester and can be paid in advance also. Delayed payment attracts penalties
  • Monthly expenses for lodging (rent) and food and stationery will come out to be around $1000~$1300. With rent around $800 + $100 utilities. Rest will be groceries.

I think the course curriculum is great here. There are a lot of required courses but after those courses, there is a lot of courses that you can choose from and all seem to be worth taking. It's also great that these courses are required otherwise a lot of students wouldn't take courses that are basically required in the real world.

I opted for this particular college because of not only the amazing programs offered but also because of the school culture and spirit. It is also in an amazing location in the centre of Austin, Texas.

The courses are great here. Currently you have around 16 courses from which you have to finish 10 to graduate. More courses are being added every semester. Most of the courses are related to ML AI, there are very few Systems courses. The curriculum is equivalent to that of the on campus ones. And few courses are rigorous having Math!

Fees

It costs 10,000 USD. If you are an international student, you will have to pay 125 USD additionally per semester as an international fee.
