The Master of Science in Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin's Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering (UT PGE) is a 30–36 credit-hour master's degree, instructed on-campus in Austin, Texas, and typically completed in 2-3 years. It has a focus on energy resource problem-solving, such as oil and gas exploration, drilling, reservoir engineering, and developing others like geothermal energy, carbon capture and storage, and methane emissions reduction.
