I opted for this particular college because of not only the amazing programs offered but also because of the school culture and spirit. It is also in an amazing location in the centre of Austin, Texas.
Course Curriculum
I think the course curriculum is great here. There are a lot of required courses but after those courses, there is a lot of courses that you can choose from and all seem to be worth taking. It's also great that these courses are required otherwise a lot of students wouldn't take courses that are basically required in the real world.
Exams
I took the SAT with a score of 2210 and no other exams. I've also taken a couple AP exams and SAT subject tests.
Examination Structure
Each class structures, its own exams and some classes may even choose to not have their students take exams and instead have the grades based on homework and projects. If a class does have exams there are normally one to two exams during the semester and then a cumulative final.
Faculty
I think the faculty is great at this college and especially in this program. We have top faculty around the country. There are a little less faculty and professors than needed in our department so the amount of classes is lacking.
Hostel
I've lived in an off-campus apartment for the past two years. Many students, especially after freshman year, live in off-campus apartments. There are many apartments right next to campus to house the large student body.
