• I got an international fund scholarship, and I don't think there is any eligibility criteria for that. And I got $15000 per year, and my batchmate received $20000 may be that's because her academics are good, I don't know why.
• As I know, everybody receives some amount of scholarship, and for bachelor's students it is an amount, and for master's students it is in %, like 30-50% of their fee. So, it may depend on your previous academics and the exam scores may be.

• I found my accommodation off-campus, and I found it through a WhatsApp group. My monthly rent is $550, not much facilities, just a hall and kitchen bathroom. Not many challenges, I easily found it. It is 4 miles from my uni, and there is a bus every 30 mins which the university provides. Just look on the internet or join some random RIT WhatsApp groups, and you can easily find accommodations near RIT.

• 500 - 1000 USD is the per-month rental cost.

• I did not receive any scholarship during my program there, so I do not know what the award amount was.
• However yes, one of my batchmates did receive the "KTH India Scholarship." The scholarship covered the tuition fee of a two-year Master degree provided the overall grades/results from the first year were up to a certain minimum standard, which also included a monthly living allowance during the first academic year.
• There are four KTH scholarships, three offered by the Swedish Institute and five granted by KTH-associated scholarship organisations - leading to a total of twelve. Hence, twelve students on average would be receiving scholarships each year. I do not know what the typical award amount would be, though.

• I opted for off-campus accommodation, as it is definitely cheaper than that available on campus. So we Indian students of the 2019 intake formed a WhatsApp group and decided to try and find accommodation together. Most of us were in touch with the university's team for arranging accommodation - called "KTH Accommodation." They got in touch with us - including me - and enquired about preferences before allocating us with rooms. I had no problems with them, as processes were smooth.
• Having my room contract with KTH Accommodation, I was paying SEK 4500 rent. This was with an attached bathroom, a table with two chairs and a bed. From the second year onwards, a lot of Indian students changed contracts and moved over to sign with the city's local student accommodation monopoly company - known as "Stockholms Studentsbostader" (SSSB)—albeit trying to stay within the same accommodation campus since their rates were cheaper than those of KTH Accommodation.
• My accommodation was at the next metro station and a bit of a walk away from the university - called "Lappis." Most of the Indian students stayed in three different student accommodations - either in Lappis, "Strix," or "Teknikringen" (the latter for those staying on campus), if I remember rightly.
• My advice for incoming students would be to try and enter the SSSB queue straight away so that you'll be able to get a room on one of their contracts sooner than KTH Accommodation's. Plus, the latter only allows for a one-plus-one-year basis, while you can stay on an SSSB contract as long as you prove you have courses you're still studying.

• Yes, scholarships are available. I received a 40% scholarship on my tuition. Almost everyone in my class received some percentage of scholarship.
• Eligibility of scholarships is based on work experience or undergraduate experience in the same field. Having research papers also helps a lot.
• Other soft skills and club participations etc also helped in getting scholarships.

• I chose Apex Apartments, an off-campus accommodation closest to RIT. Rent is $900-$1100/month with utilities, gym, and laundry included.
• Found via Discord groups and online searches.
• Challenges included limited availability and coordinating with roommates. Start early and check lease terms. Apex is 5-10 minutes from campus and popular among Indian students.

All students receive scholarships. I have received a presidential scholarship, as well as several grants and stipends, bringing my total cost of attendance down to less than half of the original cost. No additional applications are needed for scholarships at the school, with only a few exceptions.

The program I selected is extremely rigorous and well-known, which will help me get a quality job upon graduation. My financial aid award was excellent, and the school is generally very good, making it a clear choice. My college is a journey of discovery - learning more about myself, my field, and my future. While there have been some challenges along the way, the college has helped me to grow as a person and I feel equipped with the skills I need to be successful, in my field and life. Everything is available to me at my school - there is no class I cannot take, no research I cannot do, and no activity I cannot participate in. Everything is there for me.
