- As the market is bad, people are having difficulty getting jobs, but the university alumni had gotten jobs before completing the degree, as well as they find it easy to get internships.
- Due to current market, the salary range is down and we can expect min 70K/year
- Universities arrange career fairs, and you have to apply on company sites or in LinkedIn, Indeed or other job portals.

I found my accommodation through online platforms and student groups (Indian Student Organization is one of the WhatsApp group for the UNR students) on Telegram. These groups were quite helpful in connecting with other students looking for roommates or available listings.
There are many apartment near university like you will find as near as 5 min walk from university in 400-700 per month.

In my hometown, I got brochures and info from high school. Online application to fill out. There was a $60 application fee for prospective students too. It can take 3-6 weeks for a denial/acceptance letter. I applied to 2 colleges including the current one. They were both in my home town, one university and one community. Chose because it's Close to home.
I'm from the state and was admitted as soon as I applied because of my high school diploma and GPA. Also, they had a music program I could get into. I'm able to pay in state tuition which vastly changes the cost of college!
I had scholarships if I stayed in state. After moving from CA to NV I had to readjust my whole life plan. I only wanted to go to a 4-year university, and between the University of Nevada Reno and the University of NV Las Vegas, I wanted to experience real weather.
