How to Pay Tuition Fees at Pace University as an International Student?

International students pay tuition and fees through Pace University's online systems. They use dedicated international payment partners to handle currency conversion and reduce fees.

  • Log in to the Pace Portal with your Pace credentials. Go to the Student Home Tab, select Billing and Payment, then choose Make a payment.
  • Use Flywire for payments from outside the U.S. It supports many country-specific methods and currencies.
  • Use TransferMate to pay in your local currency from nearly any country. Access it through the Payment Portal. Benefits include accurate conversions, competitive rates, local payment methods, and faster posting.
  • Pay by electronic check (ACH) with no extra fee. Credit/debit card payments incur a convenience fee (around 2.95%-3%) charged by the processor.

Mail checks or money orders (include the student's full name and UID) to: Pace University, Payment Processing Centre, 161 William St, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10038. This method takes longer to process.

Note: Direct wire transfers are possible but not recommended. They risk delays or errors. Make payments at least 10 days before the due date.

  • View bills and due dates (e.g., Fall 2026: August 1, 2026) in the Pace Portal. Pay in full or enrol in an interest-free payment plan by the due date to avoid late fees and holds.
  • Overpayments may return to the sender. Keep credits on account for future charges if preferred.

  • I opted for off-campus accommodation in Jersey City because the on-campus dorms and most NYC rentals were very expensive. I was able to find my first apartment through a friend who was already living in Jersey City. The rent for that apartment was $1,150, which I shared with my friend (rent for me: $575). I felt the rent was higher for the apartment, as it was a basement unit, with no sunlight at all, but all the utilities were included in the rent. When I moved to the USA, I was living with a friend as I did not have any accommodation, and even though my friend did not mind me staying at her place, I wanted to find a place for myself asap, and after looking for 1-2 weeks, I ended up in the basement unit.
  • Jersey City is technically in a different state, but it is very well connected to Manhattan through the PATH trains, so many of the Indian students studying in NYC prefer staying there. It takes around 30–50 minutes to reach the university, depending on the location. Most Indian students also prefer staying in Jersey City because it is more affordable compared to Manhattan and has a large Indian community. There is even a street called 'Indian Street' with Indian grocery stores and restaurants.
  • Finding a good house is not easy, especially close to the start of the semester. So I would suggest starting to look for a place in India itself. Get in touch with the students from the university who are already in the USA and ask them for help. Having a house before you land in the USA, because there is a very high probability that you would end up compromising either by having to pay higher rent or a not-so-good house. Join as many housing groups as you can, and make friends with the students coming in for your intake, so you can find a house with them. Looking for a single room is harder than looking for an entire house.

  • I live at off campus and it's easy to get off campus accommodation as there are many groups to find accommodation. Initially we might face challenges to get a right group but once we get a right accommodation group it's easy to find one. I recommend everyone to keep looking all the accommodation groups carefully and find a right accommodation and be carefully while paying the money if they ask as they are many scams going around us.

  • For accommodation, Pace University students mostly stay in Jersey City, New Jersey, which is quite affordable and easy to commute to. We found the apartments on the Zillow app, which is mainly for searching for apartments for rent.
  • For sharing room: $350 and Private room: $750
  • Electricity—Approx. $65 and Wi-Fi—$35 (200 Mbps)
  • The difficulties we faced were that the apartment should be close to a walkable commute to the subway station and nearby grocery stores.
  • For future students, find apartments that are within a 10-minute walkable distance of Journal Square PATH Station to commute to New York.
  • 12 min walk to Path station from the apartment, 10 min subway commute, and 10 min walk to university. Approx. 30 minutes

  • Off campus and my monthly expenses would be like around $600 and if we break it down then the rent is $430, for travelling $70 and for food it would be $100. i didnt search for accomodation i got it through my senior's friend referral and mostly we can search for houses at whatsapp and telegram , i didnt face any troubles when i was securing accommodations, my recommendation would be look into into whatsapp groups and also telegram and plan for it as soon as possible.
  • I stay in NJ so i have to take one train to reach world trade center and from there i just have to walk and to university it is quite near to me.

Faculty and location is the main reason. The research in my field from this college made me choose this college. Also, NYC is the financial hub of the world, and studying in a college with such a great alumni network will definitely help me in my professional career.

It's one of the few colleges with an arts management program and it's in an amazing location. I got into several more selective college but Pace offered me admission to the honors college & gave me a lot of scholarships. I applied to eight colleges and was accepted to four. I graduated a year early with a 3.8 GPA. The Pace application was 50 bucks.
