Lots of opportunities to collaborate between departments for interdisciplinary research
Close connection with Industry

Dislikes

Stipends could have been better
Due to proximity to Boston and northeastern region, winter months are frigid with temperatures dipping upto -25 degree centigrade

Shared off campus accomodation can be anything between $800-$1500 depending upon the facilities offered at the housing unit. water, trash disposal, and heat are typically included in rent for shared apartments. Individual studio apartments would start at a minimum of $1500. Heat, water, and trash handling charges could be extra.
There are plenty of real estate agents and online platforms to search for off-campus accommodation. The university also has a dedicated website for off-campus accommodation.
