  • The Campus Experience at NAU is the best; it is a very large campus with beautiful architecture and awesome views to the mountains covered in snow; it has a huge library with a lot of useful resources; there are around 10 to 15 grounds for students to play; and they also have a huge gym with best-in-class equipment for students.

  • Accommodation in Flagstaff is very costly. A 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat costs around $2500/month, including current and water bills.
  • Finding accommodation is not so tough; as soon as you get your admission, the college will add you to a WhatsApp group where students will be posting about available accommodation; then you can reach out to them to discuss further, or you just visit apartments.com to take a new flat.

  • I have opted for off campus. You can find it better than on campus as it will be very less rent but we need to stay atleast 6 people in 1 apartment.
  • The rent will be 2000$ per apartment and depends on how many people stay in that to divide for each person.
  • Its better to ask most things before coming here to accommodate. Clearing rent amount and other bills and if we leave that apartment in between, we have to replace someone so taking everything in advance with lease owners will help a lot. Ask 4-5 members early to not have any issues after coming here.

NAU has two campuses, Flagstaff and Phoenix. Speaking of the Flagstaff campus there was always some event going on and the campus was well connected based on transport facilities and resources were easily accessible like a library, health centre, gym, pool, post office etc

Finding a place to stay near campus that is on a budget is hard. I didn’t like sharing my room, so I wanted a private space. I used Facebook groups like Flagstaff Housing and NAU housing on/off campus to find housing off campus because it was cheaper and bigger size apartments than campus dorms.

The campus is huge and has a huge library which not only provides us with books but also laptop, tablets, 3D printers, cameras, and more. They have a IT department right there that can help with fixing laptop or any electronic items. They have multiple computers in the library to use and work on. Every place in the campus has WiFi. They have multiple events celebrating every culture like Indian, italian, Chinese, Korean, and more. It's an never ending list. People on campus are very accepting and helpful. There is a huge gym and a lot of trails to run and hike around. Multiple grounds for soccer, basketball, lawn tennis and more.

The accommodation for a private room can range anywhere between 700-1200 off-campus and on campus. Living expenses would include food majorly but university has a drive where they distribute food every two weeks for free. The student just needs to go and pick it up. Other than that it'll cost you around 300-500$

I loved living on campus. My job allowed me to live on campus for all 4 years. It gave me the ability to stay focused on my school, have access to on-campus resources (dining, library) and keep my commute to classes short. The meals were a bit expensive, but there were several different options including Starbucks and Jamba Juice.

I chose this college for its change in the environment and also the ease of the application process. It was only $50 to apply and was very easy to complete. I applied to only 2 schools and was accepted in just a couple of months. I also loved this college for its small-town appeal. Flagstaff is a beautiful and small city that was perfect for college students. I loved how the professors connected with me and my classes were never too big, so I could have that connection with my professors and other students.
