Scholarship
- Yes, I received a scholarship of $3000 per year, which was later deducted from my tuition fees.
- I didn't have to apply for it separately. IT was included in my application itself. So when I received the admission letter from the university, it came with the scholarship announcement. But one can also apply for it additionally under FAFSA, which stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It is available on the website nyit.edu

I received a graduate assistant role in one semester that waived 1 credit fee and a teaching assistant role in another semester that waived another 1 credit fee. I also received an additional Graduate Scholar Award. Which is granted to students whose undergraduate GPA was a 3.3. To maintain that award the student must maintain a 3.3 each semester. - The course curriculum was beginner friendly for someone who is making a switch from engineering to management. Personally, I believe that New York City offers a wide range of opportunities to connect with like minded people and diverse individuals with multitude of perspectives.
- Faculty support and encouragement of student initiatives. I was fortunate enough to be able to volunteer at events that helped me connect with industry professionals. Being an international student, it can be initially challenging to find right places to be at, people to talk to but volunteering is a great way to get yourself a kickstart into understanding better, helping the community and building a better place for everyone.

- University is good but not that helpful with the placements. All the events on campus opportunities are good. I would say if you are not looking for job seriously and believe that u can take care of your opportunities it's a good college
Dislikes

Overview
Since I was working as an Application Development Analyst at Accenture, I was fortunate enough to receive my letter of recommendation from my manager and from the team lead. 3rd LOR I received ok t from my professor from bachelor's who was my mentor for final project. I have been searching from many sources and when I heard about the professors and the facilities I was invited to take this offer also one of my dear friends had studied at the same university. It's tough; everyone has their own opinion. I would say even I should have been a little more proactive and the university also should have supported us more with placements
