- Weekends can get boring sometimes since there’s not much to do around here.
- Public transportation is pretty limited, making it hard to travel to nearby towns or cities without a car.
Scholarship

- I didn’t receive it, but my friend got a Graduate Assistantship, which fully covered tuition fees and provided hourly pay.

- Mechanical department students have the highest chance of receiving it.

- My campus is in a different city and not in a main campus. I wish my department is still in the main campus or my campus has everything main campus has . I faced transportation issues.
Overview
I had a good experience in terms of gaining skills, getting help from professors.

Overview
It is a beautiful campus and very good for studying in a a peaceful and quite environment. Although it is a small r1 you can make connections with other students. It is usually undergrad focused college though with a huge football team.

One of the best programs for automotive engineering. The Clemson's automotive department is one of it's kind. The department provides state of the art facilities for automotive engineering. The department also boasts of good placements in top tier companies, along with extensive research opportunities.
Scholarship
I did not receive any scholarship. I am a PhD student so get my full tuition fee covered alond with a salary which I draw working as a research assistant within the university.
Overview
I opted here to join the Deep Orange program. It is one-of-a-kind. The admission process is standard: GRE and TOEFL with your latest Curriculum Vitae, transcripts, letters of recommendation (4, min 3) and statement of purpose.
Scholarship
The criteria for the fellowships I have received during my Master's course in ICAR were based on academic and cocurricular merit, leadership initiatives and contribution to the state-of-the-art research currently in the university. The awards/fellowships I have received are: 1. Tata Fellowship (2020) 2. Research Assistanship [ARMLAB] (2021 Jan to May; 16 USD/hr, 20hrs/week) 3. Deep Orange stipend (2000 USD for 3 months - May to July 2021) 4. Deep Orange Fellowship (5000 USD) 5. Graduate research hourly stipend [VIPR-GS] (2021 Aug to 2022 Aug, 20 USD/hr, 10hr/week) 6. I chose Clemson University since they have a lot of good courses to offer for the graduate program and I saw on their website that they had a lot of research opportunities.
Scholarship
No, I didn't receive any scholarships from the university.
Overview
I chose this college because it was one of the only colleges providing a specialized course for automotive engineers.
Scholarship
No, but it is possible to get scholarships.
Overview
I live very close to the university and always wanted to attend since I can remember. This is the only college I applied to partly because I was 26th in a class of 300 and had a 26 on the ACT so I felt confident in my chances to get accepted. I had many friends in the grades above me apply to Clemson so they showed me what was best to do and once accepted gave tips.
Overview
The reason most people come to Clemson is for that feeling of family. Everywhere you go someone will see your Clemson attire and you instantly have that connection. It's great for networking. Not to mention the incredible athletics and research opportunities.
Overview
The campus is really pretty with the pond in the center. The atmosphere is safer and more personal than Columbia. The football programs are great. Tough school so a diploma from there will definitely be a good one. And the lake is a minute away.
Scholarship
I had the life scholarship, but got a 2.99 GPA and lost it. I haven't had any other scholarships but have been taking some loans out through the school. The loan process is super easy. You fill out like three forms and then they just put it towards your account automatically. Financial aid office people are pretty rude though so I do my best to not need to go.
