- There aren’t many tech companies nearby, which limits networking and job opportunities in the area.

Course Curriculum

Possible reasons for rejection:-I feel mostly it’s because I applied but late for these Universities. Ideally we should start by September one year back but I applied them in early January of the admit year.

I chose this University because it’s an economical option for me with good opportunity for on campus Job. We have Co-op options after one year. University has great research foundation and I feel ROI will be great here.

The admission process involved submitting an online application, writing a cover letter, and providing Letters of Recommendation (LOR). I received a response within 2-3 weeks, and the rest was similar to other universities.

IELTS and GRE is mandatory here and for a confirm admit score of 300+ in GRE is must.

My overall experience was good. I got responses on expected time and Clemson was the quickest among all the other universities I applied. I got the response like in 15 days.

Faculty
- The faculty-to-student ratio is 16:1, which is pretty good and allows for decent interaction with the professors.
- The teaching approach depends on the level of your course. For master’s programs, the content may not always be extensive enough to make you job-ready, but it largely depends on your interest and dedication to the field.
- Some professors come from industry backgrounds and might help with referrals, but this depends on how well you connect and network with them.

Campus Life
- The university has 2 campuses, one in Clemson and another in Charleston.
- Facilities available: ,Cafes,Canteen,Gym,Swimming pool,Indoor play facilities, Football ground
- The university is well-known for its football culture, with Clemson Tigers being a three-time winner. Matches are a major event and are held at the famous Death Valley, the home ground of the Clemson Tigers.
- There are always events happening on campus, ranging from sports to cultural activities. Sports, especially football, are a major attraction. There are also student organizations and clubs for a variety of interests, promoting active student engagement and participation.
Part Time Jobs
- Around 35–50 students per course students typically secure Teaching Assistant (TA), Research Assistant (RA), or Departmental Assistant (DA) positions
- The pay range is $15 to $20 per hour.
- Apart from TA, RA, and GA positions, there are catering jobs through Aramark, which usually pay between $10 and $15 per hour.
- Students can work up to 20 hours per week during the first year, which can increase to 40 hours per week during internships or breaks.
- TA, RA, and GA positions depend on factors like grades and your CV, but catering jobs and other part-time roles are generally always open until you secure an assistantship.
- Assistantships are the most preferred option as they are better than catering jobs, provide more time for academics, and sometimes offer a complete fee waiver. 1. Placement
- Job fair happens twice a year and many companies nearby to the campus comes to the job fair. There is domination of Civil and Mechanical Engineering based companies in the job fair
- Not very sure but a good percentage of people gets job and even internship after one year.
- Earning upon graduation $6,000 to $10,000 per month for Master Students.
- Most students use online job portals, attend job fairs, apply directly on company portals, or use LinkedIn. Referrals can also play an important role.
- Typically, job placements involve 2–3 rounds of interviews. Specific companies or roles are unclear, but placements are very subjective and varies as per companies.

Accommodation
- Accommodation did I opt for Off-campus.
- I used online platforms and Facebook groups to find it.
- The rent was $450–$500 for a furnished space, including utilities like WiFi, electricity, and water.
- Searching from India doesn’t provide an exact idea about the space or surroundings, and you also need to find a pair or group to share the accommodation.
- Try searching through groups or connecting with people to form a group. This will help you figure out better options and plan for upcoming accommodations.

Exams
- GRE is compulsory, and IELTS/TOEFL is required.

- Around 25–30 students receive Graduate Assistantships each year, which cover tuition fees and include hourly pay.
