Likes

The quality of the infrastructure is very good.
The teaching method of our college faculties is very good
My college campus and background is very wonderful

Dislikes

This college is only for girls and not for boys.
In my college, sufficient staff is not available
I dont like the timing of my nursing college

One of the best Medical College of India

Likes

The environment of AIIMS Raipur is very good.
People at our college are very cooperative.
Our college focuses on sports and other co-cultural along with studies.

Dislikes

In this college people discriminate between Nursing and MBBS Students.
The quality of mess food is not good according to the money we pay.
Language barrier as this college is south dominating college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very good as it help us to learn new things and also it has future as we can become nursing officers, nursing researches, nursing tutor and more according to our interest. But some people think that nursing is a very disrespectful job but it's not like that society needs to change their mind set.

Life at AIIMS Raipur as a nursing student

Likes

The academic curriculum is well structured. The professors are well educated and top most faculties of india.
The campus is vast and beautiful. Full of greenery and calmness is there.
You'll get to meet and study among people from diverse cultures and states.

Dislikes

Language can be a barrier for south indian students while communicating with patients.
Partiality exists between different courses such as mbbs and as we are in nursing
Sometimes you'll get saturated with the mess food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It includes several clinical departments of medicine and also gives insight of nursing. Teaching method is projector only. Teachers conducts several internal assessments and exams for our assessment. The internal marks are evaluated at the end of the year and students are ranked according to performance through out the year.

Inside AIIMS Raipur

Likes

The college has an extensive central library which contains books on various medical and nursing aspects. Also there is an e-library which is also very helpful. The environment inside the library is very calm & quite and helps to focus while studying
The campus is huge and provides a very safe environment to all the students.
The AIIMS hospital provides a lot of patients on a daily basis which helps in learning practical skills.

Dislikes

Faculty can be a bit unhelpful at times.
There is no placement system, you have to crack exams again to get job.
Only girls can take admission in the Nursing College, there is no seat for boys.

Course Curriculum Overview:

At first one might not like Nursing but the curriculum covers the course in a way which makes you understand Nursing and get fond of it on the way. The clinical experience prepares one fully for the real life and the peer pressure makes you mentally strong. The terminal exams are generally a bit difficult but final papers are generally moderate.

My college AIIMS Raipur

Likes

Teaching quality of the facilities are good. Regular classes are taken.
Lab facilities are there we have obg, msn lab, pediatrics, community lab
This is a professional course and you get 6 month of internship and it is very helpful

Dislikes

Teachers are not helpful. They won't hear any problem you facing
Vaccination is very less you have to attend 100 clinical if you are severely ill also
Food is not very good. You have to manage

I am in 2 nd year so I only tell about relevance of 1 St and second year subjects. In 1 St year student read nursing foundation, biochemistry, nutrition, psychology anatomy physiology In 2 nd year student have to read medical surgical nursing, community health nursing, microbiology, pathology, farmacology all is relevant to the profession.

AIIMS RAIPUR, an Institute of National Importance

Since it is an Institute of National Importance,so it has great infrastructure including hospital buliding, college building, administrative building,hostels, auditorium,etc
Highly qualified professors are present here at AIIMS Raipur.There are no vacancies of faculty ,like each department have 10-13 facilities
Campus Life is best in AIIMS since it is a central institute,so you get a chance to interact with people coming across from different corners of India

Dislikes

I think the campus should have a garden , fountains, for refreshment purpose.
In first year we don't get single rooms,we get a 1bhk flat which 3 students have to share
1st and 2nd year students are not allowed to keep there own vehicles but bicycles are allowed.

The recent Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum launched mainly focuses on practical aspects of each and every theoretical knowledge and many applications in day to day life which helps in building strong concepts and memorising the things forever . Each theory we study ,we then compare with patients,see those things in patients which makes the learning process faster, easier and effective.

As only by name i have choose this college and this course after not get admission in the mbbs course teaching methods need to be improved in various ways and the frequency and the timing of our course is good but sometimes stressful for us

Likes

I like that every batch is of 125 students so we have good opportunity to learn.
Faculties are highly qualified And Enthusiastic to teach
Cleanliness is very good in our college also ragging not occurs in our college

Dislikes

Mess food is just average, we should get better quality food
Bsc Nursing girls not get proper opportunity for sports
Mbbs, nursing and para medical course students don't interact with eachother inspite of being in same college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the MBBS course because I love studying Biology a lot and it was my dream to become a doctor. We have nearly 6 - 10 faculties for every subject and the total number of students in every batch is 125. As it is AIIMS, the faculties are highly qualified, they have completed their master's from renowned colleges. Term exams are of a good standard so one can't pass it without studying properly. Even students need 50 % marks in internal exams to appear for term exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a professional course that is Saving a life of patients and treats them and provides health care facilities. We believe that DOCTORS are the second god who saves lives. To make a patient survive and recover is not an easy task to do. Faculty members of each department will be 6 professors and 100 students. 1:20 ratio will be the teacher: students. All the faculty members are highly qualified members who have done their MBBS MD DM from the well-known institute of India and interviews will be there for the selection of professors. Total 4exams in a year which includes 2 internal and one preproff and one proff exams will be there. If we study it is easy to pass the exams.

At AIIMS Raipur, life is simply amazing. It has all of the amenities that any decent college should have, and possibly more. It has a large library, 10 to 12 cadavers, well-equipped labs, and everything else a medical student needs.

The faculty members are incredible and helpful. They are always ready to guide you. You should not let rumors mislead you.

What is better AIIMS Raipur, SCB Medical College, or AIIMS Bhopal?

It is recommended that you choose a national institute such as AIIMS. When deciding between Bhopal and Raipur, it is recommended that Raipur be chosen over Bhopal.

If you live in Odisha, Raipur appears to be a good option (though many would argue that Bhopal is better connected), followed by BBSR.

Bhopal was previously thought to be the top AIIMS after Delhi, but with time, it has been discovered that there isn't much difference between the newer AIIMS; in fact, news of chronic faculty shortages has surfaced at Bhopal. Raipur, on the other hand, has shown consistent progress in almost all arenas—academic and otherwise. The only reason Raipur isn't a top choice is that people perceive Chhattisgarh as a Naxal state that is backward in comparison to others, which is absurd.

If you are offered a seat at AIIMS BBSR, you should take it. If not, you should definitely consider AIIMS Raipur.

All of these AIIMS are on equal levels with one another. Infrastructure, faculty, and facilities are remarkably similar, so don't undercut any of them. So, excluding these, make your decision based on personal factors.

Remember that it is a common misconception that Raipur is unsafe and least developed. AIIMS Raipur is a wonderful institute that none of you regret attending. They have also achieved some outstanding results in PG. So give it some thought and join any of the institutes you want.
