Likes

The amount of labs available for engineering students is great , they provide a lot of facilities
They have an incubation cell which provides funding to students and their project or buisness ideas
The huge greenery filled campus , it's very relaxing and a fun campus

Dislikes

The canteens could be better , Kengeri campus does not have good canteens compared to other christ campuses
The dress code is very strict , while it's good to have a strict dress code it's too formal all the time
The attendance policy is too much , 85% or we have to pay fines

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible from 6/7 semester, a lot of companies have visited our college, so many that I don't even remember, JP Morgan is the highest package as far as I know , the average package is around 8LPA , most of the students tend to get placed , I plan to start my own service based company after college

Likes

The expression grained in this college is really very new for me.
There are many activities held in this college helps us to expose our talents.
There is no ragging in this college which will be helpful for the juniors.

Dislikes

There is no proper importance is given to sports.
There will be many fines in this college.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending their placements from seventh semester that is from fourth year. Some of the companies are Accenture, UST, TCS, Infosys, IBM, Oracle, Dell, Bosch, Wipro, Amazon, etc. Around 70 to 85 percentage of the students are being placed in this college. The average package given is approximately round 7 to 8 LPA(Lakhs per annum). The highest package is approximately around 15 LPA. If I didn't get placed in the campus interview in the college, I will try in off campus.

a pretty good place for exploring and leaning

i really love how approachable faculty and students in my college are. everyone are ready to help in case you need something and theres specific departments for each problems.There ar epeople form all over india so making friends is quite easy.
The fests and events in our college is really great as theres atleast one event going everymonth and the campus is green and is about 80 acres with all amenities.Theres sports teams and events against other colleges as well.
The campus is really big and you can chill in a lot of places and theres 7-8 different canteens. theres two big canteens called north and south canteen where you can fine respective food bring provided and a coffee day for coffee lovers as well.

Dislikes

the class timings are like a school. Its 9-4 everyday and there wont be any breaks in between other than a lunch break from 1-2pm .
there are three different internals called cia 1,2,3 . cia 1 is for 20 marks and cia 2 is for 50 and cia 3 is for 20 marks as well and this internals make up 70% of final result so you have to study all year round to get good marks.
hostel is really strict about certain things and they dont allow you to stay in hostel to bunk classes and if found bunking youll face consequences.

students are eligible for placements in their last year and if any students secures a good internship they could continue with that as well.A lot of companies visited our college and tcs, cisco and corizzo. the highest placement was 32lpa and the lowest is 40k per month. and the placement percentage was more than 90% for the placement batch.

our collge is soo strict we have attendence also.

the placements in our college are soo good as of now there are more than 30 companies were come .in those some of them are MNC's.the package is also goodit's around 5lakhs per annum(LPA).i think it is a good package.

Infrastructure: that’s what drags people in
Approach to syllabus: it is simplified to understanding
Workshop: workshops are conducted which are fun to participate in

Dislikes

Food: you have to pay everytime you eat no hostel mess
The campus is so big legs start to hurt before I reach my destination

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

I have selected ece because of not getting seat in cse and coming to ece curriculum is somewhat loose than ither departments and coming to examinations in class exams will be 2 and 1 main exam. Each exam duration gap will be of 2months

My review on Christ university

Likes

The thing I liked about this campus is about its greenery. Its a large campus which is vast with different animals ,plants and many trees .It has many areas to explore.
Christ university's faculty members are known for their strong academic background and industry experience. Here the faculty is very supportive and often employ interactive teaching meathods.
This next thing I liked about this campus is it conduct many program which includes sports events, academic events , winter fest ,art fest and many more.

Dislikes

the thing i dislike is about the outside of christ university kengeri campus as its road is ver traffic and is very difficult to cross the highway road as there is no crossroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cirriculum is designed to prepare students for real world applications by including project based learning ,case studies and internships.The university has strong ties with the tech industry ,and students get opportunities to intern tech companies. The exams are conducted in way as the they test us not in the final exam but during the academic year.

Likes

The boys and girls ration is equal that's how it is in btech but in psychology and bba it's girls who are more
The placement services are so good that they provide on time services and always available for the students
The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are top notch

Dislikes

Somewhere inside the campus there is a little advantage for malayalm speaking people at the canteen as every canteen is maintained by them except one.
The hostel is so strict that it doesn't allow any food items into the hostel room except the dry fruits
Attandance is one thing that you always have to take care of because if it is less than 85 it's risky

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students who are sitting for placements gets placed without any doubt. Some students choose higher studies. People who don't get placed have assistance from the placements cell to get placed into the job

Likes

College hosts various events and programs for students to showcase their talents.
College also host lots of guest lectures and brings lot of famous people which helps us find correct career.
Teachers are also very helpful and caring which provides student with support and encouragement

Dislikes

Classes are bit too long, they have one hour lecture with 6 lectures everyday
Minimum Attendance required is 85% which is too much compared to other colleges.
College has lot of events but most of events held are by psychology department, Btech department mainly focus on classes than practical

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placements for Btech Course with average of 600000 per annum package. Different companies come for campus interviews mostly during 7th and 8th semesters and they conduct different rounds of exams and interviews for placements. Some companies also provide internships and placements before 7th semester and give opportunity to students.
