Likes

Education is best, the staff of teachers we have is best, highly educated one
We do have fest every year, which is a sort of relaxation from busy and hectic studies
Management is good, they listen to students problem and try to solve them

Dislikes

Travelling as it's out skerts of Hyderabad
We have strict attendance, need to have atleast 70 percent

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is much relevant But the only drawback is the college is located out skerts so the amount of patients are less compared to other clgs and hospitals location with in the center of city, In spite of that we have good clinical practice through our faculty they take classes and exams frequently so that we exhale in finals and have good knowledge about that subject.

OSMANIA MEDICAL COLLEGE

Likes

College is affiliated with many hospitals
Clinical exposure is very high as there are many hospitals
Teaching faculty is very good and faculty student relationship is very good

Dislikes

As there are many hospitals are affiliated which are far from college we have to travel by our own
Old mens hostel which is very bad but now new hostel is being constructed in that place
Main academic block has poor infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview:

As per NMC Guidelines, CBME curriculum is followed.From the second year students have to attend clinical postings. Internals exams are for 100 marks (each subject) Pre final exams are also conducted at the end of the year before final exams

Me and my college

Likes

I liked the environment and so peaceful with no traffic and pollution
Very good faculty and supposedly towards acedemics
Events and further reaserch labs for studying

Dislikes

Mess food is worst to taste, not appropriate for eating
No proper sports facility and no encouragement towards sports from management
Very far away from city. Cant go to buy some things

Good faculty and teaching methods..with good available facilities and instruments
Quality of infrastructure is good..as it's the new college
Good environment.. pollution free campus..

Dislikes

hostel management and their attitude towards students
Strict rules in the campus environment and college
It's not that toooo spacious and a clumsy campus

Likes

Education and hospital exposure is good in the college.
Faculties are good and experienced in teaching as well as treating patients.
Hospital is big and equipped with all modern technologies.

Dislikes

Playground is not that big but manageable for students
Surroundings of the college aren't that great
Lot of events doesn't happen in the college

NMC curriculum of comprehensive learning is followed. I feel it good in present as well as futuristic approach.. Increased practical knowledge and reducing burden over exam stress.. Frequency is generally once every 2-3 months with moderate difficulty..

MNR DENTAL COLLEGE REVIEW

I think the college needs to change the drinking water and washroom facilities
Teaching is good and teachers are friendly except some of them
Girls are more when compared to boys girls-60 boys-12

Dislikes

The patient inflow is not good in some depts
You are not allowed to leave the college even for eating .and college canteen food is not good
You have to wear uniform and aprons all the time

I would say if you want to be clinically ready you will have to attend some clinics apart from clg and also actively be involved in all the departments to get the industrial level of knowledge and exel

Student friendly campus.

Likes

Faculty is the most attractive thing, excellent teaching and doubt clarification, faculty is available 24 hours without any distraction
Student friendly enveronment and nice infrastructure, good and new building with all measures of student safety and good security and cc camera no one can enter building without permission, high security for students
Anti ragging squad, and anti ragging committe is there punishment for ragging are very serious

Dislikes

No freedom, no holidays ,strict monitoring
No outings, always study study, but good ranks

Likes

College infrastructure is very good a very huge campus
Faculty experience is very good they teach well
Hospital op is incridible ..we can see many cases

Dislikes

Food and all are low quality and water supply is not so good
Delay of scholarship ..it delays upto year
Transport facility is very poor no buses are provided from hospital to collage

A good beginning

Likes

There are no disturbances around college like there is no traffic or public
Many books of different authors are present in the library
College faculty is strictly against the ragging, if anyone found doing so will be suspended immediately

Dislikes

Each class will be divided into 3 batches names A,B,C. Each batch includes nearly 58 members, during dissection of 1st year only 3 cadavers will be given(1 cadaver to each batch) among 58 members only nearly 20-30 people can see the cadaver dissectio
There is no social life around the college, since the college is located near to highway. If you want buy any stuff, you need to travel either to mahbubnagar(10km from college) or to jadcherla(7km from college).
There will be 175 students for each class and each year out 175, 100-110 will be girls and 60-70 will be boys. There will be no proper signals of both jio and airtel in the college but when compared to jio airtel is best

Course Curriculum Overview:

There will be ab exam for every 15 days (only 1sub) known as part completion test for 50 marks, the pass percentage is 50% that is to pass PCT we need to score more than 25 marks out of 50. This is not a serious exam it is only for the practice purpose. I personally feel like It would be much better if there will be 4-5 cadavers in 1st year dissection.i personally choosed this college because there will be no disturbances coming( traffic, people)

My genuine review on GMCN

Likes

Good faculty and more exposure to cases so better learning and practice
Hostles are mainted good and friendly environment with securities
Faculty are encouraging and help in studies as well as college fest

Dislikes

Restrictions girls are allowed to be outside only till 8:30pm
Proper ground is not available but basketball court and badminton courts are available
More frequently we encountered problems lack of regular water supply

Morning we are posted to practices in the hospital where we are taught regarding clinical cases And we'll assigned one family under family adoption program in the 2nd year All the well being is our responsibility untill the end of the course
